What a 'revenge-seeking' episode it was yesterday!!! I felt it cud've been far better thn wat it actually was. My take on a few points:-
1. This was the 1st time the viewers saw a vindictive and sinister 'dadaji' which was unprecedented except for the 1 episode where he cooked up a lethally concocted reason for giving in to navya n anant's wedding inspite of saraswati and om objecting to it!!!! How can a highly 'sanskari' and revered being like him not trust his grandson (that too the most beloved one) and overlook such a heinous crime of having his 'khandan ki bahu' molested and that too by an insider??? It really bothered me when he said he'll speak to the Mishras before the phere. God knows what will he say to them or how would he show them 'unka asli sthaan"………..
2. Can't just saraswati shut up for heaven's sake and find herself better tasks to do other than taunting Navya and her family constantly without an explicably valid reason?? Malice and manipulation are the keywords of her behavior and remain so perennially…..
3. Very excited to see AnYa's marriage, but de facto once AnYa get married, what exactly will be the difference left b/w Navya and other saas-bahu shows on star plus? Till a few days ago, I believed that Navya is one show which has managed to retain it's freshness quotient for a considerably long period of time not having to meet the fate of turning into a saas-bahu drama, (which sadly every newly-launched show on Star Plus eventually meets with) but I might jst end up eating my words once they bcum married!!!
4. Consider this. Most TV soaps keep the romantic lead stuck for long periods in love's obsessive state. The camera caresses them from every angle as they stay frozen, giving each other prolonged lovelorn looks (which happened in AnYa's case also). Viewers' hearts stop likewise… freefalling with a collective thud as the screen couple's loaded gazes break contact. This, unfortunately was not repeating with a nauseating frequency in AnYa's case because they had their climactic declaration of love merely 1-1 n a half months after the show started. Who is interested in happily-ever-after? The excitement and adrenaline-laden moments all happen before the couple settles down to eternal, stable, boring marital bliss. It wud b nice if one could stay stuck forever in the love's obsessive state- where every footfall announces a lover's visit, each whisper shivers down the spine, and any sound seems like a nightingale's song! A state of constant edge-of-seat excitement and suspense, not knowing what further delights the next moment will unfold!!!!!!!!!
Hopefully, this is wat the cv's keep in mind while sketching the married life graph of AnYa!!!!!!!!!!!
