It was a tension-licious episode yesterday. Here r my views on the major instances tht tuk place:-
1. I was quite surprised n taken aback by the fact tht nobody spotted a drunk Guddu enter n cross the hall inspite of him being very conspicuous in the entire area. Every1 seemed so self-absorbed and smug!!!!!!!!!!!
2. Cuming to guddu, our very 'maahir' trouble-maker it wud not b wrong if I say tht the moment u hear his name or evn hv a luk at him, he gives a very malicious, unclean impression about himself, especially the swagger with which he walks!!!!!!!! It was sort of a dj vu n anticipated act put up by him wen he bcame all lamb-like during the hearing wid the entire family as if he had jst had a dip in the Holy Ganges n it was anant who mistook a very suave guddu for a drunk one!!!!!!!!!
3. The paranoid 'chachiji' surely wud've had better things 2 b done thn to prove the so-called chivalry n somber attitude of her 'laadla' beta. I jst cudnt stand the way she acted deliriously on finding him in front of the washroom (after frantically enquiring frm over a dozen ppl) n asked him not to get out of her sight even once, as if he is a 9-month old child!!!!!!!!!
4. Kudos to shaheer for essaying an unprecedented 'avtaar' as that of a protective boyfriend (to-be-husband) with such finesse that it appeared relatable and palpable to every viewer. We have seen an insecure boyfriend before, but this was one aspect of anant which hadn't been explored yet n the cv's did a gr8 job by bringing out the way he stood up for navya!!
5. I sumhow feel that essaying a character alike yrself on-screen is not what acting is all about because then it is a cakewalk for the concerned actor/actress. But essaying a character absolutely unlike yrself (in real life), tht too in case of a negative role, making it appear convincing, really fetches u applause as an actor. And I really like the way Snigdha plays the role of rama. She carries off her negative role so well, ditto for bua-dadi (shades of grey)!!!!!!!!!!!
6. Sumwhere I felt there was a bit of an overplay by navya ,(as always taking into consideration the amount of glycerine she must've used for the bedroom scene) but it was very much acceptable.
7. May God bless everyone on this planet wid a mother like Meeta who actually said it with aplomb tht a girl very well knows the difference between lust n love!!!!!!
