Tanu, Mrids, Nick, Nids, Nams, Jen, Soumya and anyone else I missed, awesome takes! 👏 Allow me to pen down a few of my thoughts here! I won't do a detailed analysis, cause I'm kinda lazy today! 😳
Well, today's episode was one of the better ones. I can say that since the proposal episode, this has to be the best episode. A nice AnYa scene with a dash of the Mishra-Bajpaayee family drama, and that's the recipe for a nice episode!
I thought Navya's dance was a bit weird. IDK, maybe she wasn't given proper steps or she couldn't handle her lehenga, I really dunno, but I didn't like her dance. Even her expressions were a tad bit weird and I thought the editing in that scene was rather poor. Anant's apparent discomfort and longing to meet Navya was really beautiful, and I must say that SS M acted very well! 👏 The bidaai scene was IMO the best scene of the day *ducks to avoid the barrage of joote, chappal, and rotten ande-tamatar* Kshitee Jog is a really fine actress, and it was her who got me teary eyed at this point. The mini bidaai scene was very sweet and emotional and touching. SS F was also really good. I've always maintained that she acts brilliantly in emotional scenes! BD as usual was a surprise in this scene, as she smiled soo much and was acting as if she was Navya's daadi or something! Itna pyaar kahaan se umad aaya Saraswati jee?
To echo Nick's sentiments, does Rama really have to be such a bitch and go and bhadkofy BD? I mean like, can't you guys see that there's an old and diabetic woman in the vicinity, and it is your duty to serve food to such people first? To hell with the fact that they're from the girl's side, its your moral responsibility as a human being to serve food to such people! But who will explain all these technicalities to the Bajpaayees? I mean like, BD glared at Deepu and Dadi so much that the poor old lady kept her food aside! Rama, tujhe keede pade! 😡
And then of course, the cute AnYa scene! I loved Appy and Ranbir's one-liners throughout the show, they're truly brilliant! I was in splits listening to their witty comments! I thought that the scene was only nice up to a certain extent, and I'll explain why. When Appy brought Navya to that human wall under the stairs, and the way Anant pulled her, it kinda transported me back to the golden days of Indian Television, where there were tons of scenes that the guy pulls his unsuspecting girlfriend into some kona-khopcha to do a little bit of coochie-cooing, and I loved that part! 😃 Right @Jenny?
Anant's wonderful monologue, Navya's brilliant expressions and the twig ring were all amazing, don't get me wrong. SS M and SS F acted brilliantly well, but as individuals. In such a scene, you really expect to see some chemistry and some passion, but for some reason, I thought the fire and the zing was missing. They acted well, but didn't do justice to the chemistry, IMO at least. So much more could have been done, but the scene was left half baked, and that's what ruined it for me. Once again, RRA were standing and commenting on such an important moment in AnYa's life; I've now understood that these people are not gonna ever leave the couple alone. I bet they'll somehow land up around the couple on their SR as well!
Its better I don't talk about the precap now, and just wait and see what happens in tonight's episode.
And that is why, for some reason, while I liked the episode, but it didn't have the desired effect in me. Forgive me guys, but that's my PoV today.
