Navya symbolises the new young generation of India. A 19-year old college girl, Navya is an extremely identifiable and average girl-next-door, who is confused about her life like a lot of young India is. Navya naturally balances modernity & traditionalism in her day-to-day life without even consciously thinking about it. Like most youngsters today, Navya has middle class parents, who constantly struggle between being parents and friends to their children.

Her friends enjoy better freedom at home - one of them also has a boyfriend and Navya secretly wishes for one who would do mushy things for her, yet she is happy in her own world. As luck would have it, Navya falls in love with Anant, a boy hailing from a traditional and conservative family. Over time, the story beautifully captures Navya and Anant's journey of love and their trials and tribulations in trying to stay uniquely Indian and yet moving ahead with the times.

Currently, Anant was seen by Navya's mother when he surprised to wish her happy birthday.^[ Their fate remains unknown. Later navya's mother starts to doubt Navya therefore she requests Renuka to talk to Navya about it. Navya confesses about Anant and her relationship. But Renuka keeps this a secret from her mom. But later Navya's mother learns about Anant and Navya's relationship.Navya's mother is very disturbed to learn about their relationship and decides to send Navya to Kanpur with her dadi. And tells Navya that she will not be in touch with Anant.and then anant knows that his cousin wedding is in Kanpur not dehli and he was totally sure that navya is also invited in wedding because he see the name of navya's father and dadi in card and after 2 weeks wedding come closer and and then there comes another problem.Father and his baba wants anant to stay at home and look there business.At that time anant's brother say that anant should go with us and his chahcha ji stay at home and says that with this he will know about his responsibilities so his baba except that then anant go to Kanpur.In Kanpur at the wedding when navya mother comes to know about anant is here too she keeps navya away from anant but anant don't want to stay away.He meet navya but navya's mother see him with him and she took both at corner to warn anant that why he is not stopping she don't want any problem there at that time navya father listen that and remember that the is that now was there on valentine day and he wants to know all about between them navya mom wants to stop his father but she cannot stop navya father at that time anant father come to talk to anant that why he is not with his family and go back then navya's father comes to know that he is anant father and go to met anant father to meet and talk about his son he explained all to his father and says false about anant and his family anant father get angry and say that this is not about only anant there was also your daughter navya and they all fight anant family goes there and navya family too anant father says anant to forget navya and navya father was very disheartened and say navya to forget anant.But then Anant's baba agree that Navya and Anant can marry but there is some certain reason as they said if she will come in there house so she would be forced to follow there in-law's so now they will go to Navya's house for fixing anant and navya's alliance. Navya then is getting ready for anants family to go and see her when she remembers she has to cook something for them. So with the help from her mother she makes some somosa. Anants family arrive 15 minutes early so she rushes to get ready with the help of appy and rits.Navya feels nervous and does notwant to go out. Anant makes an excuse of going bathroom and calls navya from there and asks her to come out of the room soon. As navya comes out anant and navya accidentally hit each other. Anant's family agrees for the wedding . Anant goes to Navya's house to take her to clooage, he accidentally calls her dad papa and she tells appy and rits and they laugh at him. he swears revenge.
