@Jen- OMG really? Welcome to the club! Even I'm born and brought up abroad, so my roots are not tooo strong, but I do enjoy the few times I've been to Mumbai! Most of my knowledge of the different parts of Mumbai comes from the tv soaps and bollywood films! And you live in Toronto? My godfather and my chachu live there too!

My parents lived in Bhilai for abt 10 yrs I think(dad longer.), mom after marriage..moved out in 81. We should PM abt this..will be cool if we find a connection:)

btw I think I know why they changed the name of the press from Geeta to Vedanta...the CVs peeked into our forum and read one of Geeta's rants on the episodes and they decided they din't like the name Geeta anymore-LOL (am glad she isn't around, warna meri toh lag jaati aaj:) and looked for a name that none of the adda mates had:))

@soumya..HIndi.to acha hai na..hum sab hindi to bolte hi hai..and Marathi si not my mother tongue..even my friends doubt that i am a gujju when i use to speak marathi with them...you can give the creidt ot being brounghtr up in mumbai..you see😉

@Jen- OMG its like I'm talking to a canadian version of myself! All my hindi knowledge is from the movies and shows, and well, hindi as a second lingo! And even when people hear my name, they doubt my Indian heritage! I mean, Ritchelle doesn't sound Indian, does it? (FYI, its pronounced rish-el!) and you're 18? So you graduated from senior high this May I'm assuming? 😃

@jen.i agree..after knowing your name , i was not sure if you were marathi..or had any connection with our pyara dea..but i am happy to be proved wrong..it is so true thatthe appearances can be deceptive..happy to know you better..i guess your parents probably did that so that the whites dont have trouble callign your names..ask me I get a new name for myself everyday..i never thought my name was so hard to pronounce..till i realized that have no sound like "u" as we say i in hindi😉 @soumya..lovedf you reasoning behind change of name..par zara bachkar rehna..aaj to khair nahi.😉😆.

@Urmi and @Soumya- I've been having that doubt about the name of the press since I saw it above Mohan's head! Why did they change the name, and what happened to Geeta Press?
