I was reading yr topic and felt that I should also share my experience which I have gathered as I aged...well there are boys who takes their bride for granted; as you have said one of your acquaintance behaved that way... before marriage he was doting on his gf...after marriage his family became important to him... Actually most of the boys, men are outgoing type and they do not bind themselves into household matters before marriage... if they fall in love they devote most of the time to their beloved. However, once married they feel that they have achieved something in life and now its time to give priority to the family members who were earlier deprived from his attention... so the focus now shifts to their family members. they also tend to take their wife as granted.
But I think Anant has not changed or will not change, if you see he took Rama's words as simple joke on Sagaai day and behaved in a simple joking manner. his intensions were not to hurt Navya...Give him the benefit of doubt he never even knew his Rama Bhavi's evil intentions..he use to trust his Bhavi who has pretended to help him earlier in many ways. Look at his words when he said even boys have to undergo some change after marriage as they have to also take care of their family members along with their wife...which is in a way true...at the same time we find Anant as most caring person when he is worried about Deepak's financial status...In nutshell he is a caring guy...may be if situation demands he may break out into a fight with Navya after marriage ...but his love for Navya will remain everlasting.
