Yeah... When Baba picked up that jug of water I immediately knew he was going to give us the infamous speech that he gave to Anant when he showed him the dissolving tablet in the glass of water- except this time it was with juice! And the way Udi-Baba had that evil grin on his face once they'd been mixed I got afraid for a second thinking- "Blimey, he looks like he plans to poison Navya or something!" and then of course to make matters worse, Bua Dadi gasps "Are you thinking what I'm thinking...?!?!"... Because now obviously she would come up with something like that!!! My mind was seriously going all over the place there... Those three looked like they were in a top secret meeting in some evil headquarters with Baba as the man with the evil grin stroking a cat- except in this case it was the jug!!! They're so manipulative!!- and now this is becoming a little melodramatic as well... I mean realistically, who ever does that nowadays- is this really what we're getting out of the nayi soch??? That some elders are quite frankly evil canniving manipulative plotters for how to ruin their children's life? A tad extreme there I think...

On the positive side, I'm counting on Navya's faith in Anant that he'd never let her be unhappy in that house- and already we've seen Anant take a stand for Navya, so I hope that he maintains that and if he sees that she's not happy, does something about it! I don't think Navya will sucumb to the Bajpais plan though- I don't know why, but I just don't see it- sure she'll start becoming more of a housewife, but that's to be expected from the situation, but I don't think we'll lose the Navya that we started off with. Worst case scenario is that she is mistreated- and Anant is sure to see if she is, in which case I'd like to see him bring up the idea of living in another house (: of course, that is for far in the future though... But still an open possibility which I think could link to the nayi soch with more and more families living in separate houses to their parents nowadays.

Going over the top on what is already extreme could just turn this into one of those typical dramas where the innocent bahu is always picked on and mistreated!! I call out to the CVs not to ruin this serial by showing the usual- bring back the days when we got to see lots of college life!! I'm missing Appy, Ritz and Ranbir!!! Need a refresher, and soon from the claustrophobic crazy clan!!!
