Thanks Mridula. Yeah, I really could not comment on anything on AnYa today, still so affected by the heart wrenching scenes of their separation today, thought I would mention something else instead.

Aww Nisha thanks, am totally humbled. @ Bold, believe it or not, I was going to mention that scene as well, but it slipped my mind before I closed the post, but glad you pointed it out. She comes to the rescue ALL the time.

Yeah, dunno anything about her back ground, would love to see that track as mentioned before.

What I really, really want to see is to her find her soulmate soon too. Methinks, he should be the exact opposite of her, so as to balance out the Yin & the Yang. Totally seedha saadha and it will be fun to see him being completely shocked & then bowled over and spoiled by her hare brained ideas. 😉

Geeta, posts like these make it so much much more interesting to watch the show :-) Thanks for dedicating a post to what I think is one of the spunkiest characters on the show... And she's so much fun - how I wish our all-sacrificing female lead will let her hair down (no pun intended) at least some time!

It must be tough being the odd one out (the single one in the group), but she is a nice soul and in my opinion, does her best for her friends without too much of a fuss, a true friend... If we are counting how many times she's stood up for Anya, can we forget the canteen scene (with Harry's infamous remark and Anant holding his collar), when she stood up for Navya?

I somehow also like Anant with Appy-Rits - don't know why but he seems more relaxed and normal than with Navya - may be because he doesn't have to be "the boyfriend" with them?

Great post, Geeta (if I can call u that).

I concur with you, Appy was the real hero. Had it not been her, we wouldn't have got the emotional last part and the meeting before Navya left.

Me thinks she truly believes in LOVE and probably has seen her Mom n Dad experience it in the most beautiful way before some tragedy happened??(speculating that dad is not there now??) and that's why she goes out of the way to always help them.

Me also thinks under this bubbly,quirky, eccentric Appy that is to the outside world is a serious,sublime and a very sensible Appy. I would absolutely LOVE if CVs can show her story.

And as you said, she truly deserves someone who will Love her LOADS for who she is.

Appy is truely a savior of our lovebirds - at so many instances!

And Nisha: Appy is the ultimate phangurl! ... no doubt about that!

Today I felt, Ritz & Appy supported Navya & Anant all the way - as always! If not for these two, Anant would have gone in full Devdas mode!

As you pointed out, would love to see AnYa reciprocate the similar support in their time of need! And yes, Appy deserves a background story as well as a love interest!

A VERY Good post - one of the reasons we LOVE the serial:

a) It reminds us of hte friendship we all had or crave for : that BOND that makes us what we are as adults as much as family does... and Rits-Appy=Navya trip epitomizes that.

2. Appy's character: GUTSY, eccentric, speaks her mind, humorous and intensely loyal to her friends... we can all relate to her character in one way or the other...and a great contrast to the Mother Hen Rits and Bholi bhaali Navya... what wonderful characterization...

Credit to the writers and to the TWO LADIES who play these characters: they truly make hte show what it is as much as ANYA...

So PLEASE ADD ME TO THE ARAC (Appy Rits Appreciation Club).

Ranbir is also well written but we havent seen much of him and Harry yet - really - not for a while... then you make that the "Yes Dosti" club!!

I concur, with all that you have said...😃

Appy is the eccentric, too loquacious, friendly, girl...she is like a breath of fresh air 😎...Loved her character from, the very beginning ,long before, AnYa were a couple...yes, she makes the atmosphere very vibrant, with her out of this world, dialogues...She ,as the receiver, during the canteen scene, was so ,hilarious..😆..and today, she was a rock⭐️, rising beyond ,everbody's expectations,and, coming to the rescue, of the lovebirds.🤗...She deserves, a uproarious round of applause, for this👏👏👏... A true friend, indeed.❤️🤗..AnYa , are blessed ,to have such a friend...Hope..there are scenes, which will feature all the Super Six, very soon😃.
