Hi Tanu, just about managed to see the episode now, after reading u r post. I had planned to give it a miss, but 'majnoo anant bajpayee', did the trick. Had to see it.

The best part of today's epi for me was the love the 3 friends had for each other. The care, concern and feelings that they have for each other. Ritz and Appy knew that Navya was not allowed to see Anant and was dying to see him and so they braved Principal Maam's (like Anant said) wrath and ire and went to ask her for permission. They both knew that Meeta would be against Navya going out but still did it for thei best friend. They braved the den to try one more time. This to me is what true friendship is all about. This brought tears to my eyes coz it reminded me of stuff that me and my 3 bf's would do in college to get out of trouble. And the joy in their face when Deepak Uncle said ok was beyond anything.

Reading all these spoilers has finally done it for me - the episodes feel dj vu when I see them...

Agree with Asha's comment - everything points to another draaagfest in the coming weeks - well, that's what you get when you shoot yourself in the foot by showing a love story of a 19-year old boy and you rush through the fun college bits and fast-track to families getting to know about it - just think how ling they dragged Shagun sagaai track :-(

Nisha, diya baati thingy does not seem very impressive to me at this stage - women working post marriage, sooo 1960s na? Plus the leads don't impress moi either... Drop me a pm if you think it's worth watching...ta.

Adamant Meeta & shattered Navya: Meeta really believes 6 weeks away from Anant will make Navya forget all about him and their relationship..😕She is so in denial..She still does not want to accept the fact that her daughter is in love, its not some bad habit Navya has which will go away with time and prohibition.. Her anger & her fear of the consequences of telling Deepu is clouding her judgment big time..She is ready to send away Navya knowing very well that the entire ordeal will be very difficult for both her and Navya too..Not only because Navya has to stay away from Anant, but both Meeta and Navya have to stay away from each other..😭During these 6 weeks Meeta herself will be one hurting the most, perhaps even more than AnYa because she has to separate her child from her, something she hasn't done before..Navya kept asking her again and again why she was giving her such a severe punishment and Meeta paid no heed to her pleas..She is blinded by her need to make things right, she still thinks Navya doesn't know about what will be best for her..Navya finally showed some traces of anger, some rebellion today for the first time..She told her mom that its not only her who changed, but Meeta has changed too..😵In Meeta the mother's desperate measures to rid Navya of this "love bug", Meeta the friend, the confidante to her daughter has been lost somewhere..Navya telling Meeta that how she is not even ready to listen to Navya's POV for once was very appropriate..👍🏼I am surprised that even as Navya held a mirror in front of Meeta through her words, Meeta still did not show any sign of softening down..God and CVs only know what will it take for her to move from denial phase to acceptance phase..

Anant's happy bubble: Awww Anant is back to his high on candy, jumping on beds and all state!!😆😆 He was so happy building castles in the air..I am at a loss as to why he was so deliriously happy, as far as I can remember Navya told him that she will try to talk to her mom the last time they met..😕😆And here he was, all ecstatic, all ready to meet her-Arre mandbuddhi, at least ask her if she has had an opportunity to talk with Hitler amma..However,it was berry cute how he called Meeta "principal ma'am" and was asking Navya whether Principal gave her permission or not..Poor Navya did not have the heart to burst his happy bubble..😒As she would tell Ritz later, she wanted to go away with the memory of his happy voice ringing in her ears, she did not want to make him sad, angry before she left..😭I can understand where she is coming from but mahan Navya ji, you do realize that he will be heartbroken when he realizes that you are gone and he has been denied the chance of saying bye to you properly?😕
IMO it looked like Navya was taking the easy way out..I don't blame her though, she has a lot of of things to worry about as it is..And it must be very hard to tell him about this impending separation when he was being so downright adorable-"Kitne dinon ke baad tumse theek se baatein kar payunga" and all..😳Felt very sorry for AnYa- they so don't deserve this..💔


Navya's dilemma and Deepu to the rescue: The late night moment between Meeta and Navya was very moving..Meeta putting hair oil on Navya's hair reminded me of how my ma always forces me to use hair oil much to my dismay..😆😆Navya once again asked her mom if she could meet Anant once just to tell him that she is leaving and as I expected Meeta turned her down immediately..At this point I have stopped sympathizing with Meeta..It would have so much better if she at least gave Navya a chance to explain herself before taking such drastic measures..The CVs are trying to show how to bridge generation gap in this show right? Well they better know the best way to do so is proper communication between parents and children..There is no other way to peek into your child's world and knowing the reasons behind their actions..Moving on the phone conversation between AnYa in the morning was berry adorable quortesy Ah-nant..😳😳He had cut his face while shaving (And called himself Stupid Majnu Anant Bajpayee while he did it😆😆😆) and he was whining to her how he will look like a fool when he really wanted to look handsome in front of her..😆😆Navya's "Tum mujhe phir bhi acche lago ge" was so cute..😳 And Anant telling her "Tum aisi baatein mat karo warna mujhse phir se aisa waisa kuch ho jayega" took the cake..☺️Haii AnYa are the very definition of cuteness..❤️Ritz-Appy being the angels they are decided to try one last time to arrange a meeting between AnYa and asked Meeta to let Navya go out with them..Meeta as usual turned them down but Deepu heard their pleas..😃😃He told them Navya could go..This means last weeks spoiler about AnYa meeting before Navya leaves is not false after all!😛

Random Musings:

1)Anant is wearing a dark check shirt in the precap is looking extra cute!! Haii main mar jawa..☺️
2)While leaving for Kanpur, Navya is wearing the same dress she wore when she left for the picnic..Is this her long distance traveling attire?😆😆
3)Not a single appearance from any of the loonies including witchy-witch, it must be my lucky day..😆

This is not about who or how much in love Navya is - she cant accept that her daughter is in love - period. So thats a bit strange to me b'cos she could always get to know him and say everything that wont work ... but this is maybe yet to come... his family background, his bachpana, all the things renu said, etc etc,,,,

So yes - Denial - should lead to understanding but maybe then can also lead to VERY logical misgivings not necessarily acceptance - so keep that in mind!

Navya's Reaction: Convo with Anant

OK - I DO NOT GET THIS... If I were Navya and hurting - I still did manage to take Anant's call... what would I do? Being the sensitive person that she is - a) She had a shock when she got home - 6 weeks ka vanvas, b) she is upset at her mom... I mean what would you do. tell the one person in the world who means as much to you as your mom - what happened. Would you not say - hi and rush into whats bothering you - after all Anant is the one person she should be able to talk to - nbot Ritz and Appy - sorry guys... I just DONT get that...

Sure woh itna khush tha - sounds just too artificial - even though I appreciate you need it - agar woh samaj jaata tho station kaise aata - kal kaise hoti... but its wierd... you have to admit...

Navya's Reaction: To Her Mom

OK ma - I understand you dont knwo what to do... and you may not want to know my "dil ka haal" and be my "dost" anymore... does not mean - she cant tell her mom : this is not about my going away 6 weeks. I too love him very much - nt just that he loves me... why is this so difficult for her to say? At 19 - wont you say something? This "IM SUCH A MARTYR ACT" is really getting to me...she needs to a) Either be honest to Anant, b) Be open with her mom even if her mom doesnt wanna hear it.

Anant's Conversation:

OK - Earth - Anant - Eath to Anant - come in Anant. Your GF is having a hard time at hme being watched like a hawk - wont you first ask her if she had a chance to tlak to Principal Mam?"

About today's epis., totally agree wid you @ Bold and extra agree with u @ Red. Really so true, so much charm wasted on this reticent girl, totally bekaar. CVs have to show Navya with some spirit now, Navya is getting really boring to watch. What is even more sad is that she doesn't even cry properly when they are showing her to be sad. Just one glycerine tear does not cut it from me. Her expressions are so bland as you said, almost emotionless, hence getting too boring to watch her these days. And her dialogs are getting more & more feeble, almost as if she is sick or something. Maybe she is trying to portray her sadness that way, but it is not very appealing to watch. She badly needs some acting classes IMO. (Extremely sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings, but that's what I felt today, no emotions playing on her face to show her depth of sorrow whatsoever!)

Meeta's reaction: I seriously feel that more than Navya it is our patience that is being tested...Thankfully navya opened her mouth today..even tough for a short span...,I feel that something is better than nothing .And Meeta aunty u should send ur daughter to a quarantine ward instead of Kanpur,so that she comes out of this disease without spreading it to others...🤢...that's How you sounded to me!

Anant's high on candy behavior: Poor bed...I think it is cursed!Why else should a bed bear the brunt for Anant's temper.When Anantji is angry he will throw his dirty towel on the bed...when he is happy he will jump on it like a monkey😆..yeh kya ho raha hai!
Ok just imagine what will happen if that bed becomes alive with a super strong shock absorbers...the moment Anant will jump on it ,it will retaliate and throw him out of the window!!...
And of course what is the big fuss,if his cheek has been cut,no doubt Navya was so cold in her reaction...she was still very polished in her reply.If only Anant could read between her lines...Navya simply meant"Who cares,I certainly don't,I have bigger issues to deal with,Mandbuddhi!"😆
She should certainly not try to make him understand the situation,because it is beyond his intelligence level .Navya can actually go back and forth to Kanpur 10 times in that span.

I wonder what makes him think that Meeta has accepted him😕...may be he thinks that Meeta aunty was just giving him time to study properly for his exams and score more than 68% atleast once in his life,before asking Navya to start talking to him again...anything is possible with him!...gift from Meeta aunty for writing all the exams properly.

and please CV's that Navratna oil bottle looked far more genuine than this oil bottle which was obviously nothing but water or was that the glycerine bottle that Navya puts in her eyes to show off her crocodile tears...surely I agree with all of you...Navya needs to take some serious acting classes!
