So as we all know, yesterday Meeta found out about Anant and Navya đ˛. Though not completely but she knows that there is someone in Navya's life. Yesterday's episode was completely different from my expectation. I thought that Navya would tell Meeta (I didn't think that Deepak would intervene) and I also thought that Rama would be completely exposed to Mohan and Anant - such wishful thinking! But of course, nothing of such sort happened and I'm really glad that the CVs didn't let it happen that way! I love how they always surprise us!
Meeta
Coming back to the point, I can totally understand Meeta's concern and fear. Navya broke her trust. It's as simple as that. Her best friend hid something from her! (compare to Appy's situation: Appy felt equally bad to know about Anant and Navya like that! She felt betrayed as well). Meeta was just so hurt by Navya's constant lies. She was so scared for Navya that she went back into the past when Navya was ten years old and she got lost. She's comparing that incident with what's happened now. Navya is lost, she's getting pulled away from her family towards a chocolate ice-cream (Anant). The way the CVs paralleled the two situations to show Meeta's fear was just đ. Also, the way Meeta understands Navya in the same way Deepak understands Meeta and he knew that there was something wrong. I feel really bad for Deepak now because he's the only one that has no idea what's going on in his daughter's life. Of course if he knew, it would be slightly awkward and knowing his reaction on Valentine's day, he wouldn't really approve. That one chance that Meeta gave to Navya was just like a gift for her. She was willing to risk one more time getting hurt. Meeta was willing to trust Navya one more time knowing that she might just get hurt if Navya lies one more time. But I think that's just a fear because sub-consciously Meeta knows that Navya won't waste this last chance. Meeta didn't shout, get angry or anything. Her silence said it all. She was so disturbed and tensed with the fact that there is someone else in Navya's life that is capable of making her best friend, Navya, lie to her mother, her friend. The insecurity could be seen in Meeta's eyes. She just couldn't understand HOW someone could become so, so, so special for Navya that the 19 years of friendship between Navya and Meeta was just tarnished within a few months. Kudos to the actor that plays Meeta because I think that she is one amazing actor! All I hope is that Navya doesn't lose this chance that Meeta is entrusting her with. As for the precap, totally understandable. She wants her daughter back. At any cost.
Mohan
Coming to Mohan, I think the actor did an absolutely fantastic job! đ I loved how the CVs showed the breakage of trust in two different relationships in both houses. Mohan had slowly started taking a liking for Rama, he started trusting her, he started WANTING to be with her and spending time with her but she took advantage of this and broke his trust. For the first time in his life, Mohan had wanted to LOVE her and she just took that piece of trust and flushed it down the toilet, not giving a second thought to what she was doing. More that anger, you could see the PAIN in Mohan's eyes because Rama had just NOT understood him. He had tried SO hard to accept her the way she is, so hard. And within a few minutes his trust was just broken like a piece of glass. I don't think he will ever be able to trust Rama the way he had before. As they say, you can fix a broken glass but the cracks will always remain.
I loved how he wanted to expose Rama in front of Anant but then decided against because a) it's between him and Rama first of all and b) he was STILL protecting her against the shame she would have to face in front of Anant. He realised that it was the honour of his wife he was dealing with. What do they say in Hindi? He kept her izzat in front of her B-I-L. Or something like that. Even within a huge joint family, Mohan felt it was necessary to solve matters with his wife behind closed doors without letting anyone, even his brother, knowing. Mohan is very intelligent that way. He knows how to handle relationships and he is much more mature than Anant. Mohan doesn't get carried away or easily influenced whereas Anant does (especially with Rama).
When the electrician told him about what had happened, it was so obvious the first name that came in his head was Rama but he wanted to block that because he had trusted her but her convo with Shagun just shattered his trust within minutes and he was just shocked. But he was still so calm about it even though there was a storm in his head, he kept his cool. But Rama was almost going to blow him up until Anant came!
Meeta & Mohan
Both of them faced betrayal of trust today and both of them dealt with it so calmly and maturely. They didn't shout, fight or let anyone else know about it. They wanted to deal with it themselves to make sure that they were comfortable and both of the actors were the BEST in today's episode! Kudos the the CVs and the actors for such a well written and captured episode!
Navya
Today, I think Navya was great how she handled her mom. How she tried to convince her to give her one more chance. Though the episode belonged to Meeta and Mohan, I think Navya played a huge part today. She confronted her fear of letting anyone know and gave it her best shot to convince her mom. She had no choice. She couldn't leave Anant and she couldn't lie to her mother. So her only choice was to tell the truth but in such a convincing way so that her mom would understand her. She kept insisting that she was the same Navya but I couldn't see that in her eyes because deep-down she knew that things had changed. Then she did admit that things had changed and she had gone on an unknown path but she felt good. I know for sure, that NOW Navya will not break the trust that her mom has bestowed upon her. Even though she wants to talk to Anant, she won't. No matter how much she misses him, she has to prove to her mom that she is well-deserving of that trust that her mom has put on her. She might send messages to Anant via Appy and Ritz but she won't talk to him herself. I think that phone convo of theirs will be their last for a few days now. So GOOD LUCK to AnYa!
Rama
As Navya said, she knows that she and Rama are completely the opposite and that's true. Knowing Rama she will take full advantage of the situation and the fact that Mohan didn't tell Anant, to further torture AnYa. Isn't it funny how Rama tries SO much to hide the truth whereas Navya tries her level best to tell the truth whenever she can? Rama and Navya are so different. Rama is manipulative, cunning and wants the best for herself whereas Navya is so innocent, caring and wants everyone else to be happy before herself. Such contrasting characters... The day Rama changes (doesn't seem to come very soon), it will be just WOW! So I really hope that Mohan finds out everything going on in her head and keeps her away from Anant.
Navya & Rama
Two characters that broke someone's trust in yesterday's episode. But both deal with the situation in such contrasting ways, it's just spectacular to watch. Loved how the CVs kept showing the different situations turn-by-turn! đ Navya and Rama are just so different, it's quite impossible to believe that they will have to live together under the same roof one day. Navya's extreme good-ness and Rama's overflowing negativity is just like ice and fire! Will be great to watch :)
Anant
Just on a side note, poor lover boy is so confused because he's the reason of argument in both houses! Reason for the breakage of trust! *Sigh* Still loved him too :P He looked SO good! haha :) Poor guy, there'll be a lot of drama in store for him in the coming few episodes! Good Luck to him for staying away from Navya đ...seems quite impossible but let's see :)
Sorry for the SUPER long post đ, I just HAD to point out these amazing techniques the CVs use to narrate a story! :) LOVE THE CVS SO MUCH! :) đđđ
