It is not his profession I mean that yaar. DT and Deepika are also trained classical dancers I remember some saying so. But unlike say Sanam it's not their profession (As a choreographer)
It's different to be trained in one style a while back to dance being the livelihood/a major part/the USP of a contestant

This is one thing on this forum I mostly differ with. IMO, being paired with an already amazing dancer or someone with an experience in dancing is a disadvantage if you are unable to match up because that ruins the performance, or if you do, then you have an upper hand.

With a choreographer, it's even tougher. Okay firstly I have watched JDJ (though 2 seasons only), all the couples were paired with choreographers with additional ones to plan the act. But that automatically did not make the actors who participated in the show good at dancing. If it did, there would be no competition at all.
Secondly matching up to a choreographer is such a tough feat, because at the end of the day Abigail has to not only match up but try to outperform, and we've seen when she messed it up, the act didn't come together. Even with a choreo you are bound to make mistakes, their dancing skills are not transferrable to you. It's an individual effort first culminating into a joint effort.
If Abigail was bad at dancing, even Sanam wouldn't have been able to save her, precisely why I love Abigail more, I can never take my eyes off her.

But that's my opinion, Sanam being a choreo, or anyone else having an experience in dancing, or trained in a particular form is completely irrelevant to me in judging whether I like an act or not.

We will have to agree to disagree.
But for me that is basically JDJ they r playing in NB. And that is very unfair to anyone who is here for NB..

Having 50% of ur pair a good dancer is never a disadvantage.. I cannot imagine what would have been monaya's fate had Sanaya not been even decent.. Where she could try to pace back till Mohit caught on.
And being a professional unlike her case the choreographer has years of experience holding back while gently pushing a none dancer in other formats of TV dance shows. So honestly I see zero disadvantages of having one expert competing as 50% of ur pair against other pairs who have 0% expertise.. It is a HUGE HUGE advantage..

Most Sanaya fans love Sanam-Abhi and I like them too.. but I have had this argument with many of them too (not on IF) and I stick to this..
