What was the dance form of Upma? They had good make up but sorry I didnt see much dance or a story in their act. Just putting a loud make up is not dance. Just 4 e.g in Kathakali they put in so much make up and heavy costume, yet there is grace in their dance, its all about controlling eyes movement and mudras along with story telling. A dance without a story is body without a soul. Their choreographer didnt do good job. Chetan was unfair in giving 10 to Himruta which should have been 9 but it wasn't mediocre by any standard.

Yeah agree Rohit should not have even be marked . And Aish took advantage of it. Mayuresh performance deserved a 30.Upmas deserved at least 28 . Definitely not 26.Their lifts are amazing and upen sitting on her back and way she does it effortlessly was good. Amrutha himanshoos act getting full 10 from chethan was out of range. shefalis marking was right. rashmi nandish were also very good. My opinion.

That step would have been completed, if Upen did finger tutting like Karishma. Just removing tongue sitting on someone's back isn't any dance.

@bold... dance is an art, it doesn't need a form. But if it makes you happy, call it Fusion because I saw bits of many different forms...lyrical, popping-locking, tutting etc. It was supposed to have weird movement to give it that devil feel... so i don't know why you were looking for grace here. It was something different for the Nach Baliye stage. It had so many small movements and is a lot more difficult than it looks. Maybe you didn't understand but the dance definitely had a story... they were in hell looking at all the dead people and talking about what sin brought them there. The concept and execution was brilliant IMO. 9/10 is apt for this performance... just Preity's score was a bit low.

Their story of 7 sins was awesome. Marzi, the professional choreographer commented on the awkward, odd poses which were true to the characters they were playing. @gauhergeous.. Did u see how upen's face lit up when marzi appreciated their honesty to the characyers. It showed the upma team's hardwork. Perfect combination of performing and visual arts. A true artist is the only one that can get sooo experimantal in creative dept. its very easy to chirn out lyrical contemporary dance forms cause they r pleasing to the viewer's eyes. But a cometition calls for risks... And UpMa has been taking risks all along. Thats why socialmedia goes excited at their performances!

🤣 I bluffed... there was no finger tutting in Upma act.

Tutting really ? its movement of finger in geometrical form 😆 what Karishma did was not tutting

Lyrical dance really ? movement in lyrical dance is characterized by fluidity and grace. I didn't see any.

Popping- locking really ? I didnt see any street dancing steps either.

I am sorry but just jumping and sitting on the coffin and making weird expression is not a dance in any format.

R u comparing Upen removing tongue after sitting on Karishma back with Amruta hanging on Himu back ? 😆 Atleast Amu showed grace while turning 😆

Right... That was not graceful move at all. Although i usually love himruta's performances, but this one was mediocre, at best. Lacked creativity and energy.

why r u comparing himruta's one with upma's???!! upma's one was way more better than himruta's...i feel so 😊 atlest upma showed GRACE ...sorry but tha comparison was not right
