2 jodi's had vaibhavi as their mentor so they were good

2 jodi's had isha as their mentor so they were ok-ok

and 2 jodi's had david dhawan as their mentor and these 2 jodi's dint perform that welll

its obvious david doesnt knw anything about dancing what tips would he give his team ..... no wonder RA and PH were so low compared to others performances

yeah - agree

Vibhavi's teams had another advantage too...

Normally Vaibhavi is the one who notices mistakes made in the performance and choreography... she points out things we never notice otherwise.

With her not judging these 2 teams -- any mistakes they would have made may go unnoticed !!! (i am not saying that they did)

yeah.. even i was thinking that david's team had a big disadvantage as he is not a dancer!!!! so they were practicing there was a limit to what he could tell them to improve on!!!!!!

rakhi and abishek are normally really good am a fan but i thought even they lacked in this performance, it might have been because of their mentor!

as far as vibhavi's team are concerned i don't think they had an advantage as isha tends to point mistakes out too, being a dancer, but i think that vibhavi's trail of thought is a little higher than isha's being a choreogropher!!!!

Perhaps Rakhi-Abhishek and Pooja Hanif were placed under David Dhawan because these two jodis are really experienced dancers and both couples are quite good at dancing and maybe they didn't need Vaibhavi's tips for that. 😆

Rakhi is a professional item girl and Abhishek is also matching steps with her...both are good dancers.

David wanted to present Rakhi more as a bollywood heroine...to remove her item number tag and raise her to the level of a bollywood heroine who can give forth dignified romantic facial expressions and graceful body movements. But Rakhi performs better in item numbers and she gets the confidence and energy when she is bold and the costumes perhaps were too apsara-like. They would suit actresses like Jaya Pradha or Sreedevi...who had the kind of expressions on their faces which would match that of an apsara or a devi.

Rakhi can't put forth that kind of facial expressions and has more sensuality in her...which was not needed in the song 'Dafliwale'..which needed more playfulness mixed with romantic and dignified expressions and innocence.😛

She is unable to perfectly portray the heroine-like dignified facial expressions. So she had to underplay a bit...to look like bollywood heroine. For that she had to be more mild and more bollywood heroine-like...which she failed to do. So Vaibhavi and Isha felt that she was not totally upto the mark and lacked energy. 😛

But its actually not the energy factor but the style of dance which a bollywood heroine like Jaya Pradha would do and the expressions she would put forth.

Jaya Pradha's beauty..facial expressions and innocent face would add grace to her hansini-like graceful body movements. Those kind of heroine-like things..Rakhi won't be able to portray well...because we can't see that innocent looks on her face as we are used to see her pouting lips and being all sensous...and David Dhawan failed in that attempt. But as Rakhi is a favourite with judges...she got the 9 points from them. 😛

Pooja and Hanif tried to portray a theme which was quite good one...but couldn't impress the judges. One reason for it could be that...they used a fast and playful song to put forth such a serious message. The song 'Kisi disco main jaaye' didn't quite match with what they did on stage...like the way...they got separated in the end and they were in pain and all. So that was quite odd-looking. I feel that they should've chosen a better song...or not chosen this theme. 😕

David Dhawan wanted to make Pooja and Hanif expressive through face and eyes and all. For that he made them do a bit of acting and being a director he would naturally concentrate more on the acting area...because Pooja and Hanif are really good as dancers and now what needs to be worked on is just their expressions. But in all those attempts...what they missed out was to choose the right song for the right theme along with more dance moves. If they would've concentrated more on the theme and the song selection...then surely it would've got more points for them.😳

Rest of the couples were quite ok in their performance and so they got good comments and better points. Surely the rest of the couples needed more dancing tips from Isha and Vaibhavi as they were from the television world and not that much used to dancing. So perhaps that is why they were placed under Vaibhavi and Isha. 😳

Agree with you...

Maybe Isha first chose her 2 favourite jodis and from the 4 left, Vaibhavi took the 2 weaker ones - as they needed more guidance and help... Rakhi & Pooja are good teams - so maybe they thot David could get away with them!!

Your analysis on why Rakhi & Pooja jodis failed to impress today is good... David's strength is acting and not dance - so he might have tried that out on them (for a change? ) - but that backfired!

Don't think David knows much about dance & choreography - his comments are always so-so and nothing to do with their performance - like which bollywood actor they looked like !!! 😆 😆 😆 🤢

He is the one who has failed to impress me so far in Nach Baliye !!

i relli think tht da whole concept of giving one judge.. 2 jodis was wrong.. if the judges are equal then yes its right.. but here we had a movie director who has NO clue bout dancin.. a choreographer whose choreographed songs like kajra re and an actress who dances on da tunes of a choreographer... isha wid experience can still be fair to her 2 jodis was bout david thoo???
hes a fine director but both his jodis scored low this timee..
ofcourse its wrong for a movie director to compete wid a choreograper in da field of dance.. if vaibhavi was asked to direct a movie cud shee?? den judgin a nach is different but makin him a mentor was jus wrong
