Week gone by - Wild Card Special..

Rehearsing since the last 15 days, Ketaki and Rasik Dave are all set to rock the show once again, this time with even high spirits. The senior most jodi on Nach Baliye, make a comeback as the youngest jodi with Rasik flaunting his new boyish avatar and Ketaki dancing like a 'Solah baras ki ladki' as Saroj Khan remarks.

Chunri sambhal gori... the song they performed had been on their mind since a long time. And the wild card round gave them the chance to perform on their favorite number, where they had everyone clapping to the beats.

"This time, we are here to impress our judges because last time it was they who sent us back. We are here to perform our level best and make a comeback." smiles Ketaki.

Ask him about his improvements in dancing, and a beaming Rasik says, 'Initially I did not even know what is rhythm, how to match my steps with the beats..but now I can proudly say that I know atleast 60 per cent of what dancing is about!'

After this fabulous performance the jodi does deserve a treat, when asked about their plans for the weekend, the mast jodi pours out what's on their list. Rasik wants to go and watch Umrao Jaan as it releases this week, though Ketaki is quite apprehensive about Aishwarya matching the standards Rekha has set. Meanwhile she plans to watch Don.

Sabse bade ladaiyas Rajeshwari and Varun Vadola were the hosts for Nach Baliye's wild card episode. Dressed in a dhoti, Varun wooed everyone while Raj (Varun has given her this pet name) draped in a skirt cum sari stood as an epitome of beauty.

Together they colored the show with shades of fun and masti. And after their anchor performance they demanded scores and seetis from the jury and kisses exclusively from our serial kisser Kunal Kohli.

Varun claims Nach Baliye 1 was better but also praises the enthusiasm of the jodis on Nach Baliye 2, he gets a secret nod from masterji Saroj Khan!

The Wild card round of Nach Baliye saw an altogether different Raja matching his steps with his counterpart Shweta as they set the dance floor ablaze with their performance on the hit number 'Saki Saki Re..'. One could easily make out the extra effort the jodi had put in for the performance. As their choreographer Sagar puts it, "We have been rehearsing for 12 hours at a stretch and Raja has put in his level best for this round."

While Kunal Kohli gifted Shweta, the title of 'Karari Nachaniya', Sholay isstyle, dance master Saroj Khan besides throwing three seetis, remarked that Raja had danced exactly as 'Sanjay Dutt' had, in the film. And our glamorous judge, Malaika was amazed to discover the 'dancer' in Raja and was all cheers for the duo.

Raja and Shweta attribute the success to their daughter, who had accompanied them to the show, along with Shweta's mom. " She is our lucky charm and it's the first time she has come here. She has never been willing to come on the sets earlier, as she did not like the comments I got for my bad performance." says a beaming Raja, who gets an instant kiss from his babydoll.

Lo, majak majak me hum bhi aa gaye!

Gajodhar bhaiya aka Raju Shrivastav, our Laughter champion was on the show to make everyone hold their stomach and laugh with his hilarious gags on Nach Baliye!

This dhoti clad excellent mimic, exploited his bihari accent to the utmost to make people jump in their seats. Must check out his facial expression and body language as he mesmerized all with his non-stop dose of laughter. The comedy 'guru' was at his best and delivered the best of his comical histrionics.

"Aisa lagta hai sirf Kunal ji hi naha ke aaye hain, bilkul chile hue ande ki tarah dikhte hain safed safed..." with his comic vocabulary our Gajodhar bhaiya certainly rocked!
