'A world tour if you win!'
That's what Gaurav Chopra's dad has promised his son's partner Narayani Shastri, if they win Nach Baliye 2

Of late, Narayani Shastri is busy honing her dancing skills. Giving her company is beau Gaurav Chopra and with good reason. While the duo has been going steady for two years now, Narayani has developed a soft corner for someone else. The actress simply adores Gaurav's father Mr. Swatantra Chopra. "He is one of the few men for whom I have great regard," she says.
Chopra senior lives in Delhi with his family. "He dislikes travelling and hasn't left Delhi for the last 20 years," says Gaurav. However, Mr Chopra has promised Narayani that he will come to Mumbai for her sake. "I was really moved when he agreed to come to Mumbai. His condition is that Gaurav and I make it to the finals of Nach Baliye 2," says Narayani.
And that's not all. Mr Chopra has assured his 'rani beti' (as he fondly calls Narayani) that they'll go on a world tour together if they win the show. "He wants us to win the contest," says Narayani.
For Gaurav, winning is doubly important. "It's the first time that my father wants something from me," he says. Recently, the two were in Delhi to seek Mr Chopra's blessings. "Narayani and my father share a great equation. They talk on the phone quite often. They get along so well that at times, I feel out of place," says Gaurav.
After receiving positive feedback from the judges in the first round of the show, Narayani and Gaurav are set to impress viewers in the second round. "I know couples who, under pressure, have changed the song, their outfits and even their look!" says Gaurav. "But we've been cautious about our selection of songs, clothes… etc. You can't blame participants as they are under pressure for the competition can be nervewracking."
In fact, before participating, Gaurav had no idea about the show and its rules as he was in South Africa when Nach Baliye 1 was aired. "I haven't had the chance to watch a single episode of the show," he says.

Kanchi Kaul and Shakti Anand can pop the champagne. The lead pair of Ek Ladki Anjani Si will now get fatter pay packages – inevitable as the show received an extension recently. Kanchi will now take home Rs 45,000 daily compared to the earlier Rs 25,000 per day. Shakti's daily income is nearly the same. According to their contract, the two will now work exclusively for Sony. But the two actors are only too happy. In fact, the entire cast and crew of the show celebrated their sucess by ordering food and wine on the sets of the show.
