They're spoiling choreographers
Saroj Khan feels that a prize money of Rs 20 lakh is too much

Last year the mere presence of Saroj Khan on the sets of Nach Baliye was enough to send shivers down the spine of choreographers. Known for her frank and straightforward comments, no choreographer dared to cross paths with her on the show. So, do we get to see the same Saroj Khan in Nach Baliye 2? Or will she tone down her comments?
"My job is to judge the choreography and not the expressions, which is the job of the other two co-judges," says Saroj. "Choreographers are behind-the-scene people and they should do their job thoroughly before their jodis perform on screen. And please note, that the prize money for choreographers is Rs 20 lakhs, which is much more than they deserve. Star One is very generous to them. If they are to win that kind of money they must deserve it. I started with a few thousand rupees, struggled and it took me years to earn one lakh rupees.I have earned my money through sheer hard work."
So what does she feel about the show and the level of competition in Nach Baliye 2? "It's a well-accepted concept and should do well in the second round too. The jodis are new but the level of competition will be same. I really can't say much because judges are not allowed to meet the participants. I don't know how well they are practising and who is good, average or bad because I have not seen them dancing as yet," says the choreographer.
However, she is puzzled about the addition of a special 'wild card' round that will enable one of the 'voted out' couples to be back in the competition. "I don't know why they have added the around. What's the need for it? I am yet to hear from the channel," she says.
