Yash and Gauri Tonk, runners up of Nach Baliye 2, will make a wild card entry in Nach Baliye 4

The stage is set and the competition will get edgier. Seasoned Nach Baliye contestants, Yash and Gauri Tonk have been roped in to give stiff competition to the Nach Baliye 4 contestants as a wild card entry this Saturday. The Tonks were runners up in Nach Baliye 2.

Gauri Tonk confirmed the news and said, "Nach Baliye has been an eventful part of our life. When we were approached by the channel, one and a half months ago, we were more than happy to agree to be part of the rat race again. We have even started with our rehearsals since a week."

Yash Tonk also seemed gung-ho about his stint with the show. Yash said, "I am doing this show just to make my wife and my 5-year-old daughter, Pari happy.

Gauri enjoys dancing so much that it boosts her spirits. I took up the show to see her bright smile again. As regards the competition, all I want to say is that we will do our very best. If youth is the strength of Nach Baliye 4 jodis then ours is experience."

But why bring the Tonks back? Anupama Mandloi, Senior Creative Director of Star Plus said, "The last three seasons of Nach Baliye were a resounding success.

So this time, we thought of introducing a new element on the show. We thought we would remind the viewers of the earlier Nach Jodis. We zeroed in on the runners up of the previous seasons. However, Poonam Goel of Nach Baliye 1 is expecting, while Rakhi Sawant and Abhishek Awasthi are no longer a couple, so by default we got Yash and Gauri Tonk on the show."
