I don't understand Avni's logic

Avni gave this whole monologue in the courtroom. She had much to say about not having a naamkaran, about being without the love and shelter of a father, etc. So how the hell did she rationalize that it was ok to keep a child away from his father for 10 years? (In fact, she would have kept him away his entire life!) Not only did she keep Mowgli away from his father, she kept him away from herself. Sure, she was physically there, but she intended to have him go on thinking he was an orphan. How is that fair? Especially given that her past. I'm having a tough time reconciling this...

When Avni was mentioning how much she craved for her father, I actually thought she'll say she wants to give Mowgil's custody to Neil now because she feels guilty for keeping him away from his father and wants to apologize for making the same mistake as her father

Exactly. So following that speech the following things should have happened
1. Avni should have said I know what it's like to not have a family, not have a father so I would like to ask for shared custody.
2. Neil n Khanna's should question why a girl who knows more than anyone the pain of not having a family, not having a surname, not having a father would willingly put her own child through something like that unless she had a big enough reason. They have all just accepted her statement that she did it to protect them from vidyut without digging deeper...how is it that no one has thought about what pushed her to do what she did...
3. Prakash should come up and say that even though Neil and Khanna house is a better environment financially for the child, even though Neil has been wronged by being kept in the dark about his son, even though the child deserves a family he also deserves to have his mother in his life as a shared custodian. If Mitali Neil get married and have a family, Avni cannot come and go as she pleases, unlike Shwetajis brilliant and oh so stupid idea that Avni will always have the same place in their lives and their house - sadly that's NOT the case.
These are all the logical things that should happen but I'm fairly confident will not happen. There's still 7 whole episodes - enough time to tie up loose ends instead of giving screen space to multani mitti, kamini, another kidnapping drama etc.but I'm afraid CVs will disappoint. Hope I'm proved wrong

There is nothing left in the show which looks or sounds logical😆
Had they shown some logic then it would have been a surprise for me😕
