I have decided that henceforth I will not even watch the remaining episodes. I will merely read updates and that is it. When they have decided to axe the show, and despite that fans are putting in effort to make naamkarann and its leads be known all over through social media trending, on top of fans making sure to raise trp's so the show leaves with a bang, the writers and entire team are repaying us with the most dragged episodes full of nauseating mitali-neil scenes, mitali-neil marriage and an exceptionally dumb and disloyal neil who is leading a girl on by saying he is happily marrying her whilst thinking about his ex on a rare occasion, and still doesn't have an ounce of doubt over his decision to marry mitali. There will be no avneil reunion and romance more likely right till the last episode with what they keep showing.

Hence I have decided that I am quitting indian tv. I'm not even going to watch any of the new shows everyone are claiming to be good like bepanah and ishq subhan allah because like all indian serials, it starts out good, and then becomes incredibly regressive, illogical and emotionally distressing quite soon after. There is no hope of good quality tv shows from india, so I just give up with all the hype people put around shows, and even thinking any of them can be good. I even stopped watching aapke aa jaane se a few weeks back due to how unbearably regressive the show was when I started watching it for karan jotwani and the story of a 24 year old boy falling in love with a 42 year old mother of a 15 year old. The show turned out to be utter crap with the worst kind of saas-bahu conspiracies happening against the female lead before she is even married or even given her consent to having any feelings for the male lead.

If zain comes back with a good show, then I'll watch, but until then, it is good bye from me for indian tv. It has been years of me being left disappointed with the treatment given to my fave shows and couples, and since the mess SP did with tere sheher mein, I vouched to not watch SP again, and I did do just that for almost a year until I started caving in, but now I have had it. It will be easier considering I will be starting full time work soon, and will have no time to watch all this crap, so when I do have time, it will be netflix only. 🤢

Same!! Actually I just watch the epi online by skipping all scenes except AvNeil and just keep the tv on at 9pm. But gradually, my watching time reduced to 5 min and sometimes even 2 min!! Yesterday's epi was good , so it's kinda mandatory for today's episode to be bad. These cvs obviously cannot give us continuous good episodes!! LOL. Kal ka episode accha tha toh mujhe samaj aagaya ki aaj ka epi bakwaas hi hoga 😆 The last show I watched was on channel V and it also had to go off air due to revamp of channel and they gave only 30s of reunion of leads. But still, that show was watchable atleast in its last phase and in case of NK it's not even watchable

Even I saw tere sheher mein. Show met a very bad fate. Ofcourse SP couldn't handle a different story and eventually turned it into the same bride swap crap and saas bahu crap.

It's better if ITV brings finite shows and air the episodes once the entire shoot is over so that they don't change the story in the name of TRPs

I keep thinking what would have happened if dhruv didn't leave. It's still sad when I think that merely two days after the episode with his character mantu leaving, dhruv's father succumbed to brain tumor, and the fandom thought he had left because of his father's ill health and imminent death, but the reason was actually cleared by dhruv himself that they had planned to make mantu grey (clearly in order to justify amaya ending up with rama and getting over mantu), but dhruv did not want to play anything but a positive lead when tere sheher mein was his first lead role and had become a popular one at that online. And that is why he decided to leave. I can't stop thinking what would have happened if they had never come up with that stupid idea of making his character negative, then dhruv would have never decided to leave and amaya mantu would have been end game, but the signs of amaya and mantu not ending up together was shown first when that god man entered the show and prophesied that although amaya's love for mantu was true, he was not the one for her or something like that. Clearly they had planned mantu and amaya separation long back, and this shows how sadistic SP are. They made a similar mess of nisha aur uske cousins, and now look what they are doing to NK.

Yup! I remember he gave an interview in sabras radio that they wanted to make Mantu a villain and that's why he left. In their Facebook official page,after Rama and Amaya's marriage the makers said that it's a dream ,in order to save themselves from fans' wrath. Also I remember Hiba's interview where she said that Anaya will get back to Mantu( an interview immediately after ramaya's marriage) I still wonder why they kept fooling fans if all this was pre planned. Clearly, SP wanted bride swap,compromise marriage, hate-love relationship and an evil saas. Ofcourse ManYa couldn't fulfill these criteria and hence they got Anaya married to Rama.. LOL!! Those were the days when I used to be in my full* fangirling mode* Haha!!

My daughter who watches English tv serials used to tell me "mom these tv serials just break your heart ..and it's so true because what we want to see never happens in these serials. I used to watch a serial called Doli Armaano Ki. It was about Urmi who had alll these dreams when she married but her husband turned out to physically and verbally abuse her and cheat on her. Eventually she divorced him got custody of her son and remarried a terrific guy. But instead of letting her fulfill her dreams of marriage the writers killed her new husband ..and then gave the serial a 20 years leap to focus on the sons story ...the serial didn't do well after the leap as the original cast who were great all left as they couldn't play parents to a 25 year old . It was the same with NK ...we were enjoying Avneil,story before the 10year leap ...they could have done all the things that dragon mentioned in another post here today but they didn't ...so they broke the fans hearts ...😭
