Naamkaran started with 11 year old Arsheen in the role of Avni. While doing this role she was subjected to a lot of harassment and negativity that too for some five months. Also she had some bold dialogues not suitable for the kids of her age.

Then 5 year old Ayesha was brought to play the role of Mishti who had to see a lot of violence and utter words like "naazayaz". They didn't make her throw the stone in the shot but made her hold that stone and see somebody throwing that stone. Then she had to also witness Avni pointing gun towards her.

Till Mowgli was supposed to be an orphan, 7.5 year old Kabir was doing only cheerful scenes. But now along with AdiZa, he is also doing only emotionally draining and sad scenes. And then today he was made to question cvs' favorite question that why he can't have a normal family.

I feel these type of intense scenes and dialogues definitely have some not so positive impact on the children. They tend to become matured at an early age before enjoying their childhood properly.
Feeling bad for them.

I agree. This is the problem with reality shows starring kids too. Kids are exposed to all the glamour and glitz at a very young age and that can have a negative impact on both their mental health and their studies. Same with TV shows. Especially in ITV the kids are made to suffer quite a lot onscreen and that has to have an effect offscreen. Also the uneven working hours. I hope they don't make the kids work long hours... That's why in the west they usually hire twins for the role of a single child so that they can take turns shooting and get rest also..

Yes even I don't like shows with Kids...thats why did not watch NK before leap and not interested in watching Kulfi, Mariyaam and Udaan (which started with a kid)...I do not like Kids put to atrocities and given such emotional stuff in such young age...only exception that I liked was YHM with Ruhanika but guess main was Ishita and Raman and Ruhi was just a catalyst in their love story...Story was mainly of IshRa.

Glad you put up this post Dragon! It's not only the problem in NK but in entire ITV. In Tu Aashiqui, the FL is just 16 yrs old and her character is sold to some man and that man uses her.. Like seriously, 16 yrs old playing such characters!? In YHM too, the child actor had to repeatedly say banjh banjh.. Baccho se kaise dialogues bulvaate hai. Coming to NK, preleap I used to not watch the show but while changing the channels I came across such high voltage dialogues. I was like bacchi hai, dialogue writers thoda toh rehem karo. I somehow feel it snatches the childhood innocence from them. There have to be certain rules to regulate this

Unfortunately I think they make the kids work for long hours and that is why I have seen the kids bringing their school homework on sets.
Hiring twins for the role is an interesting concept.
But finding twin kids who.can act also must be difficult

So true!
I saw Arsheen's mehmaan nawazi segment sometime back..she is a 10 year old kid but she speaks more than her age🥱The yt comments were saying the same too.
Actually many of these child actors if they get established doesnt even continue studying.
Once i saw an iv of Avika Gor where she says she did her 11th and 12th as not a regular student..i believe that atleast upto 12th standard one should be a regular.

U know, like our constitution, we should have rules for tv shows as well. And movies too. Not just with censorship.
No child under 13 should be told to speak such dialogues,
The things which are banned for under 18 should not be there.
And all other things.

I wished such!

dont forget these kids become victim of bullying too, they dont want to go to school and have very few friends. the amount of stress they take at this age is very inhumane😒

I have much bigger question for the entertainment industry around the world.

Why is child labour a crime!! and then why aren't children prohibited from this industry!! Is it safe with all the heavy equipemts and overstressing workload over extended time periods!! Why can't it be considered as parents exploiting kids for money just like any other field!! Don't these kids need to be educated!! or is it okay not to be educated since they're making money and somehow formed careers at a very young age!! Sometimes I feel entertainment industry is the biggest hypocrite in this world.
