Being one of the people who have commented on it being flirting, I will say this again.. It isn't the book definition of flirting being referred here, it is the fact that the situations surrounding the characters that makes it come off as flirting... An emotionally drained man gets engaged because he believes that is right, but that same heartbroken man has no sadness when he puts the cake on mitali... Even Avni had a sad look when Neil did that to her on her bday as she knew she had to leave him now! Nobody does a 180 when he is that drained... That's why noone is hating on Neil completely because somewhere everyone knows he is over doing it, but is right in his anger... Same with the scene yesterday, his sorry or lunch wasn't wrong, but the fact that he switched from the angry father to someone who didn't even have it on his mind, or the fact that he promised her at the same time as the hearing, makes it giving her more importance, thus, flirting..

Anyways, since everyone on the forum seems to be having problems with review, which they have an option of not reading but still do and then blame everyone for writing them, I don't see myself posting on the platform anymore... It is about discussion but lately it feels more like bashing people for their views! Sorry if someone got offended but I like the show for its uniqueness, not just Avni and Neil, and Was writing what I felt as a Naamkaran shipper and not avneil shipper, but not anymore.. So many hate posts people!!

As u say, this is a forum and it is meant for discussions and discussion is a 2 way thing. If everybody with same opinion express their views, it is just talking, not discussion. Discussion involves different people, different perspectives, different opinions, Something u say might be the same that the others too believe or they accept ur pov...or else they have some other belief and they refuse to accept ur point. If u don't agree with something, u don't ignore it in a discussion...its a discussion, not speech. If u r done with explaining ur point n the others still don't accept it, then u can choose to ignore.
Only thing that's required is put ur views in a dignified way, ask questions if u don't understand something rather than getting offended, don't use wrong words for anything or anybody and try to understand what one has to say with an open mind n not opinionated mind already.
N I practice what I preach. I have always asked people the questions like why this or why not that. I have never used wrong words for anybody, even if that's Mitali or Saesha, I haven't called them anything like chipkali chudail girgit etc no matter how much those characters annoy me. But I understand people name-calling the vamps, but couldn't understand the same against the male lead. Hence even before justifying my single point, the first thing I had done was requested the girl who called Neil as Mr Cheap Khanna for the first time not to do that. But its ok, it was her wish that she didn't want to stop that. If ya'll who don't like Neil's behaviour n want to call him n his actions wrong names (which might be right according to u) can make posts or comments against him, y can't we, who support Neil for the wrongs he has not done (according to us) can reply to those posts as per our views? Do u expect only goodie goodie comments on ur posts which are in line with ur thoughts? If that's the case, I'll refrain from commenting my views. In the initial days, even I didn't believe that Neil has ego issues, but after reading all these comments on those lines and watching the next episodes, even I accept now that my view was wrong n he is doing certain things out of his ego. I can still justify some of his actions considering his emotional state n looking from where he stands...but now I refrain doing that since most people don't like it. I rather try to understand from other pov and state the things that Neil should do as a father forgetting his pain n ego. The point is, while discussing anything, u can't be blinded by ur views, u should give it a thought about what others are saying. N if that's not happening, then there's no point in conducting any discussions.
I hope I clarified my side and it doesn't offend u anymore.
