This post seems sensible to me...If they are planing for an extension, we can imagine that they are trying to stretch the story by adding fillers...But if the truth is that the show is going to be shut down in the next few weeks, its high time that they cut the crap and come to the point...that is give us a few weeks of stressfree happy episodes!
