So I know this issue has been addressed several or 'n' number of times here but all in vain. Both cvs and channel are not gonna pay heed to our words. But still discussing about things are always fun😃
So this thing since past few weeks after the the trp drop has attained a low plateau in the graph made me ponder...
I have seen many (including me) citing several reasons for the trp drop and especially blaming the 9pm slot. We have cited reasons that is
~news time
~family time(including dinner)
~positivity time(as nk offers less positivity😊)
~high competitors like kkm and now bepannah
~study time
~9pm is more competitive than 9.30pm or 8.30pm or 10pm too
Ohkay these were the reasons i could find/remember to have hand in the never rising trps of the show at the 9pm slot (this reasons also existed when the show had better trps..only that it has become more evident now)
I agree that the slot is quite a competitive and tough one but isn't each slot having its own pros and cons??Like..
*At 7pm- TA and TSMSP are grabbing eyeballs better than nk. Usually many households don't even switch on the tv at this time or many wouldn't have reached home after their work.
*At 7.30pm-watched yhm today!it has ghost track going on there..certainly looks illogical but the way it kept me hooked to know what was this was awesome!😃😆Ishq mein marjawa at the same slot has intriguing plot too!the latest promo is so awesome!
*At 8pm-Sp has ullu..nothing much here and on other channel it has shakti..shakti does have a major social issue being addressed but the cast or the leads aren't so wow but it does manage to grab eyeballs in huge numbers.And moreover this is again is a news time slot for many families.
*At 8.30pm-The new entrant kulfi has done well ofcourse with promotions but udaan of the same ph is doing so well than despite the slot having issues of family time/dinner time.
*At 9pm-I guess i needn't say anything about this.😆
*At 9.30pm-Yrkkh and kb at the same slot and raking in such huge trps! Laado is also in top 20 despite such huge competitors. Isn't this slot too family/dinner/news...time..??
*At 10pm-Ib despite having a bad phase is doing so well and i should say this show was so inconsistent with the tracks for long and now it is good and consistent! So this slot doesnt have much strong competitors..but still isn't it again a news time/sleeping time for many households??
So why only nk is having such a bad struggle to rake in trps!
Well the answer is
~the poor storyline
~leads been sidelined
~no happy times
~unwanted ss to unwanted people
~no family scenes(khannas!)
~no good sets/outdoor shoots
and many more...
But still seeing why this show is the only one always struggling despite every other show is also struggling and is getting a better life than nk is so sad to see.
I know it is a long post😆but this blame on 9pm looked a bit pointless to me when slots like 8.30pm and 9.30 pm has the same issues like that nk has.
And..
So NK CVS if you ever read this...(coz you will be working for some other show some day after nk ends or if you opt out of nk at some point..) you need to know..however illogical the track is..however stupid the cast/acting is..however bad the track is..
IT IS ALL ABOUT THE EXECUTION, THE PRESENTATION AND ALL ABOUT KEEPING YOUR AUDIENCE HOOKED THAN DRIVING THEM AWAY😊
Cvs/channel and the NK is similar to that story where the farmer killed the hen/duck WHO LAID THE GOLDEN EGGS😊
