In future I would like to see some PH making a remake of Naamkarann. If not a remake , they can at least borrow some of the ideas from it.
Naamkarann has a unique story and unique characters which is rarely seen in ITV and in future it will be great to see these type of content and characters in ITV shows
What the show could take from NK
1)A strong male lead with strong principles ,who is a cop by profession, and who always takes a stand for the right even if for that he has to fight with his family. Who is respected equally in his personal and professional life. Not ready to compromise with his principles for anyone without disrespecting anyone. Does not take impulsive decisions, is not spineless and does not manhandles female lead.
2) A strong female lead who is not a doormat. Believes in practising rather than preaching.Does not hesitate in calling a spade a spade. Does not sacrifices unnecessarily to earn accolades from the people who don't value her. May not be a perfect bahu but is a normal flawed human being who make mistakes and try to learn from them.
3) Strong communication between ML and FL where they don't hide anything from each other and have faith in each other.
4) A selfless step parent, who treats his or her step child like his or her own child .
5) A family which is not judgemental and takes rational decisions. The members may not think alike but infer things after logical analysis. Family members may commit mistakes but are matured enough to accept their mistakes and seek forgiveness.
6) An opposite gender best friend of either or both of the leads, who will not come between the leads.
7) Some loyal and sensible people around the leads who will advise and support them at the time of need.
What the show should not take from NK
1) Repeated separation of leads and consistently troubled married life-The leads should not be kept separate for long duration. One lead should not suffer for long time because of a wrong decision taken by one of the leads for both of them. The lead couple should be shown leading a happy married life for a considerable time.
2) Evil mostly winning with minor setback-It should be always good winning over the evil and not the other way around. Negativity should not be made to last long.
3) Too many long lasting third angles- Third angles can be brought but only for a brief time and to strengthen the relationship between the couple without creating some serious irreversible damage.
4) End of positive characters - Important positive characters should not be killed or suddenly made to disappear in the show.
5) Lack of parallel track - Good parallel tracks reduces pressure on the main track and makes the story more interesting.
6) Functions and Events with high voltage drama - Not all celebrations should end on a bitter note. The main purpose of celebrations is to bring positive energy in life, not to fill an already stressed life with negativity.
7) Wrong casting for certain characters - Whatever role it may be, actors with good acting and dialogue delivery skills should be cast.
