Hmm first thing Shweta is very protective of her Tillu and knows firsthand how depressed he must've been in those 10 years without Avni. Plus this is the second time it's happened to him, since Juhi too disappeared from his life completely shattering him. I'm not comparing Avni with Juhi, but remember how cold Shweta was towards Juhi when she came back and Juhi herself wondered why the woman who was loving towards her has turned all unwelcoming. Obviously Shweta knows Avni was his one and only true love but she always has the tendency to overreact when it comes to matters regarding her tillu.

So I think it's 50/50 CVs can turn her either shade and even if she turned negative they'll be able to justify it through her past actions and her usual traits.
