10 year leap NOT justified! PLEASE change it!

I found out today that there are rumours floating that the show is taking a 10 year leap not 5! Nothing can justify this! Sorry! The loyal fans have suffered enough since Juhi's track and this is not the reward we expect! Yes the story has been good overall, and I have personally loved most of it! But a 10 year leap (especially if it's to justify the so called love story of Mishti) then it's total BS! Sorry! People said the kid playing Mishti doesn't look 10. She is probably 11 in the story? So what are they going to do, give a 10 year leap to justify hiring this kid? Please! We deserved better than this and so do the actors who made this show a success!


If that is the reason then Hell NO is all I have to say! But even if it's not, nothing justifies a 10 year separation! Neil becoming depressed and suffering for 10 years? Come on? I know this is fiction, but we are emotionally connected to this story and characters and that is why we watch it! So this really hurts! Not as some say coz Avni and Neil will be so called Old! Lol. They are not old! Being in your mid 30's may be old for kids, but in the real world they are not old at that age! Try 55! Lol. (No offence to 55 year olds)


For me this is not about age, but about the significant impact it's had on the characters! It's too painful to contemplate. Also Zain looks about the same, maybe his skin care prevented aging! Lol

summed up very well! exactly my thoughts! for every extra day/month/year that they are separated in this fictional world of NK we the audience that is connected to them also feel terrible! we are trying to come to terms with the whole- avni had no option but to fake her death and live separately but it cant be indefinitely for years and years! 10 years is A LONG TIME! even 5 years was a lot but this news is just heartbreaking to another level! it may not impact the story in terms how the post leap unfolds but it does impact our connect with it. the knowledge that they have both been suffering for so many years apart is something that'll always play on our mind as we watch it.

Agree with you we definitely deserve better than this. CVs have always taken fans for granted and no matter what after each failed track we have always stuck with the show with expectations of a better story in future. They know our weakness is Adiza and for them we've tolerated all their nonsense so far.

Actors won't fuss about the script cuz it's their job at the end of the day. But fans like us have to put up with watching and promoting such lame story for Avneil's sake. We can remain positive and hope CVs know their job till the leap is aired on tuesday but by then it'll be too late for change.

These people are so cunning all this time they gave out spoilers through telly chakkar on leap story and characters but they hid this big thing from fans. And the fact that it's done to accommodate these teenage actors pisses me off even further.

Please understand this makers! Mishti is not Neil's daughter, she is not Avni's daughter! In fact she is Neil's ex and the villains daughter! So to make her Love story with the New Resident Hunk believable, please don't ruin the story of the two people we love and the only people we are interested in at this point!

So a very kind request! Please don't do this to us! I have never been that vocal or overly critical of tracks, (except during Neil Baby Daddy times). Even when you killed Neela ma whom I loved, I tolerated it! But this is the limit! Please don't take your audience for granted to this level! This is not fair! I expect this from Gul Khan and Ekta. But not these producers! (Even EKTA listens to the fans!)

P.S: Where is Amol? Is he still in jail? If it's 10 years he should be out? Instead of Mishti's love story can we see him and Avni's bonding? Avni is the lead? Not Mishti?

What have AvNeil seen in their life? They have experienced mostly misery and negativity in their marital life. Some 1.5 years of togetherness, seven months of separation, then 6-7 days of togetherness and again 10 years of separation? Do they deserve this?

In other shows they have shown 20 years of separation also but that happens only after the couple has spent considerable amount of time with each other and have one child each with them who remind them of their better half and give them a motive to live. But here AvNeil will have nothing but loneliness with them. This sounds so painful.

I never hated Mishti! I was never even against AvNeil adopting her per se! But just coz they hired a 14 year old kid, to give us a 10 year leap of AVNEIL is where I draw the line! Mishti was not even NEEDED in the post leap story? If she had Pillu, then 5 year old kid, her friends and maybe her Brother should have been enough! Mishti could have been sent overseas or boarding school for her protection?

This is totally unacceptable! Sorry! This is not me being negative! This is me being REAL!

this leap is supposed to be to be an effort to help TRPs but how will that happen if there's no positive buzz at all. every news makes it feel like the ship is sinking deeper. first there are a bunch of new entries, then some re-entries. with intro of at least 7-8 characters into the track as it is we are worried that avneil screen time will be less. then the news of a 10 year leap.then we hear that it is to accomodate the teenager whos palying mishti. mishti is the one character that NK FD has been waiting to see OUT of teh show but we ignored her presence to focus on Avneil but now this news...

Just read on twitter that the leap is for 5 years. Apparently the girls who play Tara-Sitara confirmed it.
