Responsibility of fans

I very seldom post on this forum because I am puzzled by what viewers really expect form this show. It was never about young unblemished love. It was always about TRUST, FAITH and flawed relationships and the stigma of being illegitimate. If this is not your choice of entertainment then it is your choice to watch another program. The responsibility of the Producers/Directors/Channel is to provide you with an overview or promos of their show before it airs but it is you who decides if you are vested in the show or not.

It is You who make or break a show but not just because you can complain, first you have to "buy the ticket" and watch the show. That is your responsibility before you become a critic. In the case of television that means you are watching the show on the mediums that will profit the Channel and the Producers because this is a business and this business is based on ratings which equals profit.
It is no different than watching a pirated movie rather than buying a ticket to watch that movie in the cinema or buying a legitimate DVD or subscribing to a Streaming Service. TRPs are generated by the viewers. If you are not watching the show on a device that is tied to the TRPs or generating $$$ then do you really have the right to complain? How honest is that?

This is a really good show with strong characters and an amazing love story in AvNeil but we stand the risk of losing this show because the TRPs are just not there. We can blame everyone and anyone for not giving promos, for dark or weak storyines, for SP not giving the show a chance etc etc but why not look internally and ask who's really to blame if this show is cancelled?

Do you buy a Mystery book and read the end first or do you read in anticipation and just enjoy it to the end? Why the need for constant speculation which results in fake news and videos? Why not sit back and give the show a chance? Provide feedback but in a meaningful way by saying what worked well and what did not and the rest is really up to the directors.

This is your opportunity to do the right thing, if you are a true fan of this show, and watch it on television. If you are not a fan then at least be respectful to the ones who want to save this show because it provides us with the entertainment we like.

Responsibility is a big word. Understand it and use it well.

PS: Many of you will consider me a grand mother because I am in my 60s so I have seen a lot, done a lot, heard a lot, and I do know a good show when I see one.

Thank you
