I think some of the tracks like Juhi would have played out differently if people would have just stayed calm a bit longer. This was not how that track was suppose to culminate with Juhi turning whack, getting shot and Avni getting framed and going's to jail. But the fans hated Juhi so this was the CV's solution.
Having said that, one thing I will say they did drag it too much. I think that was Keteki. Coz before her the tracks where never dragged. Heck even Sapola gang disbanded on time. Bring back sapola gang. (Kidding of course). LOL
As someone who dabbles in the creative a bit myself once thing I do agree on is that the CV's do need some breathing space to tell their story. It's imperative. However that doesn't mean they take the fans for granted and push any old thing on them, and bringing twist pe twist good or bad.
I will say this though...killing Ayesha and ending Ashish and Ayesha track was a huge risk for the show. There was no guarantee that grown up Avni's story would work. But it was a calculated risk they took and it paid off. A large component of my real job involves assessing risk and mitigating it, or taking calculated risks that we believe will pay off. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. But in business the greater the risk the greater the profit. (IF it works). End of the day this is a business too. The business of entertainment.
They are taking another gamble. A very big one. Just like 12 months and go they took the gamble of introducing grown up Avni and introducing Neil beside her and not Ali. Creating initially a love triangle but not a cliched one. Ali remained Avni's best friend but the love of her life was someone else. This risk they took paid off for them probably way beyond their expectations. However they can't always expect that same outcome. But I feel they are doing something similar again. I wish them luck coz I love the actors of this show. Let's wait and see. I still hate that Neela is dying. But I want to see why they made such a huge call. What is behind this. That I do want to see. It better be good. That's all I have to say. Sacrificing Neela better have a damned good reason behind it.
