Neela waved at Avni.
Avni stood outside, the air was cold, biting at her skin, pulling her long black jacket around her she shivered and began to walk to her house, she was never a fan of cars, always way more hassle than they were worth. Her feet burned from the dancing all night, her eyes had been set on a certain Neil Khanna all night, the sizzling attraction between the two at its brim tonight.
She finally arrived home and walked upstairs to change, pulling the dark red straps from her shoulders she remembered how Neil's hands had caressed her body as they swayed with the music, she closed her eyes and hummed, as if swaying with him again.
She dropped her dress to the floor and grabbed a towel.
The door slightly open, allowing space to see. A man grunted and breathed heavily while peering in at Avni changing.
As if sensing a gaze upon her, she turned but saw nothing.
She laughed at herself and made her way to the bathroom
Avni was tired, finally climbing into bed she led down and pulled the covers over herself
The man watched from the doorway as she fell asleep, moving closer to her he picked up a few strands of her hair and sniffed, closing his eyes in appreciation
Avni turned on her side and sighed
The man backed away, going to her draws he opened one and took out her diary, placing it in his pocket he looked back at Avni and smiled again.

Avni woke up the next morning, she wondered when she would next be able to see Neil. It was confusing how one night with a stranger could make her feel so much, he was an enigma, his comments about the guests had been the first thing to bring her in, seemingly he could read every guest which proved to be both interesting and comical
Then the way his brown chocolate orbs shone in the light, glistening even more so as he laughed, like the perfect mix, his eyes matching the soft brown of the lanterns hung up, then the way his hand held hers, his arm wrapped tightly around her waist, because when you were with Neil, you felt like you were the only one in his world
She shivered at the memories and got out of bed, scolding herself, she had a job to get to and fantasizing about her one night stranger would do her no good.
She went to get ready when she noticed her draw was open, had she opened it last night? She didnt recall doing so.
Where was her diary gone? Rummaging through the draw she threw her head back and growled, it had a list of all the meetings she had to go to, all the callbacks and all the auditions, now what would she do?
Rushing to get ready, she decided to get her auditions written down again, this could easily be fixed.
It wadnt long after when she was on her way to her manager to get to her audition

Neil stood up, digging his hands into his pockets and pacing around the room, he tapped his foot on the floor "DD, dont be ovbious when you call Neela okay"
DD laughed and picked up his phone
"Hi Neela aunty, I was just wondering if I could get Avni's number again, I seem to have lost it"
Neela smiled, she always was fond of her nephew DD, smart and charming, hopefully he would find a girl some day.
Neela gave DD the phone number and made him promise to come and visit soon. Neil went to grab the notepad with Avni's number on it when DD held it back and shook his head
"Avni is my cousin, like a sister to me, hurt her and I will kill you"
Neil rolled his eyes "Yes mother, now give me the number"
Neil typed it into his phone
"Does it seem to desperate if I message her now"?
DD laughed "You got me to call my aunt and get her number, you already look desperate, just roll with it"
Neil huffed "Maybe I just shouldnt message"
"Your loss my friend"
Neil rested his head in his hands, he wasnt sure what to do.
