This is the news that has been doing the rounds since yesterday. There is no official news. But apparently most of the actors have been posting about last day of shoot and stuff like that.

We all can put effort to watch it on TV...but to attract general audience there must be a happy n positive track like post marriage track of avneil where Bebe shweta n Neil mastis happened (at that time we were in top 2 of starplus shows)

DSJZ is at risk of ending because the TRPs are not increasing, that is not the case for NK which has remained stable and at times even hitting the 2.0 mark so I think we are safe for now. Still I would ask fans to continue watching on TV and contributing to TRPs because it really does hurt the team that viewership is crucial to making or breaking a show.

I agree, fandom is doing from their side what they can do so that they don't lose AvNeil, but cvs also need to realize that only fandom's support may not be sufficient and they need to attract neutral viewers also through happy, light moment tracks

I completely agree.I remember we used to be in top2. Yeh Rishta used to be no.1 show and we used to be on 2nd spot. Infact we used to be in top10 list ( among all the daily soaps and reality shows)also. I very well remember we were even ahead of Shakti once. During that time, there was no heavy duty drama, but simple light hearted moments like that treasure hunt game. I'm not saying NK has lost its charm. It is still better than the other OTT dramas but what I'm trying to say is we NEED a happy track and that must be atleast for a week or two. I don't know why cvs feel that heavy duty drama= TRPs. It is always not the case. Audience need a happy track also. I don't even remember the last happy track we got. We need to watch on TV to save our show but even the CVs should give us a happy track

The reason why Naamkaran is gonna be under scanner irrespective of having around 2.0 TRPs and staying withing top 20 shows, is because it is at a prime time slot. They wanna pitch in other shows in the pipeline that can give a tough competition to KB.

The TRPs are basically the way they've always been, it has always fluctuated hitting the 2.0 mark mainly when tracks reach its climax. The last 2.0 was a surprise though because it was at the start of this track which was a rarity. The track has been accepted by fans it is just that the TRP race is tough so that is why I say it is crucial to watch on TV, each one of those TRP watchers can make a huge difference in ratings even by a few points.

Will it help if we bombard SP with we love NK messages! The target audience of NK is younger and most of them watch onlibe only. There has to be a way to account for those eyeballs too. It's not possible to demand that everyone watches it only on TV!
