What was Neil Thinking.?

I have been reading a lot on this track in the forum and It has also brought about a divided reactions from fandom with regards to Neil's and Avni's perspectives. And its really disheartening to see some trolling and aggresive comments. But then i must appreciate the maturity here to to tackle everyone's POV yet not loosing your own.


I have been trying to avoid since long, jumping in the situation with my own POV because i know i can be mean and rude sometimes. And moreover the show isnt offering me enough to curb my lazy form and pull me to discussion. Anyway thats another story.


Though after trying hard, i am not able to connect to Neil's character off lately. I mean what the guy was thinking while arresting his Wife, that too on Vidyut's threat.


He just heard Vidyut's offer, that was disgusting though, he ever tried to analyse it. Nah..
Vidyut clearly offered "Tumhari khubsurat Biwi ki Azadi ke badle..." Does Neil spare a moment to think what masterplan Vidyut has to Offer Avni's freedom so confidently.? Has he ever asked Vidyut what proof u have which can Prove Avni Innocent of all charges before jumping on his own theory of so called "Protecting my Wifey" and instead landing up in Jail and more than that doing it in such grave way that the poor soul is unrepaireable now.


If Vidyut actually had something to Prove Avni's innocent that time, if Neil would have agreed to hand him over Avni which vidyut was so confident about, then what is he doing in all these 6 months????? Playing Neo Neo and election election..??


Neil should have clearly enquired about this from vidyut. He should have made sure that there actually exist some Evidences, be it with Vidyut, as a way to her Freedom. Before Sending her to Jail in name of "Protecting her".


And about Vidyut, Can anyone be actually more dumb than him.??? He made sure infact perfectly planned His own "so called Lover/Obsession" to Rot in Jail for god knows how much time. How was he offering Neil his Beautiful wife's freedom when he himself had no Evidences or strategies to give her a scotfree way.! Like really, what were u thinking man.?


And even after doing all these, Neil and Neela Both think that Avni will be back to them Hearty and untainted like before when she will know everything. Seriously.? Dont you guys even try to assume what she must have gone through or maybe still going through.


Anyway Neil and Neela's character are shown as absurd and unrelatable as Avni's while Juhi Mishti track.


Pardon me if u find this post as a bashing to Neil, cause it clearly wasnt.!!!!

But acc to CVS Neil's brain works only when avni does mistake or something wrong( it should be done only by avni)

At present I am enjoying the current track bcoz I am not at all expecting logic from CVS. You are right even I am not able to connect with both Neil and neela after leap. Even yesterday I felt both are convincing themselves that they are doing it for sake of avni.

What to do, avneil shipper in me is not able to hate the show at present. Thinking abt other saas bahu dramas and kitchen politics IAM feeling this is better. But this track for me is 100 % better than juhis. Bottom line for me is never expect logic from Indian shows that too especially daily soaps

I think CV's are forcing us to Blame Neil for each and everything showing so much downfall in his character. Even Zain couldnt connect with it 😆

I agree this is still better than other Saas bahu kitchen politics and way better than last Juhi fiasco.


But ab bus humare dekhne ka reason sirf yehi hai kya? That it is better than Juhi track.??


I am missing that pull i used to have to run and watch the show. The Magic is gone.
Now a days the only saving grace is "Growth in Avni's character".
Neil and neela are getting on my nerves

Well, the entire let's trade your wife for her freedom thing is just melodramatic, absurd and insane. And how come avni herself, the entity of the trade, has no say in the whole thing??? Is she neil's wife or slave? She is probably one of the strongest FL on tv. And she having no say in her own future is stupid.

And the way if Neil approaching this case is vague.. I mean he dint want avni to become ananya but it's fine he becoming neo. Clueless.. I mean even neo is taking law in his hands difference is ananya's verdict is killing person n neo's is destroying the business whatever it is..

And showing avni fighting skills is really not really needed.. I mean she should b strong in understanding the plans not physically..

And jail sequences are really amusing never I found such kind of jail's..

Anyways this is fiction so watching it as it is.

I think to add tashn between avneil they created this distance...

There are sooo many loopholes in this drama.

Also if we compare the other personalities of both leads that is Ananya and Neo, Ananya do stand out to me and still appeal to me. Neo is just... ohkaish.!!

Neil is shown to cover up all his absurdities and incapabilities behind "Protecting Wifey" cover which our old Neil was not.

What I could gauge was Neil as over protective hubby took over a cops thought process if as a cop he had thought then he knows what avni is capable of and could handle vid with his help very well

As of now only this logic I thought and also leads dynamics changing will add masala to story thus this hungama😆

Had Neil told her about Vidyut in first place, she herself would have made sure of breaking Vidyut's bones into pieces (comminutive fractures I am sure)

But then, they wouldn't have a story at all. So, given this fact I am ready to overlook the whole trade thing. For me it got over with Juhi's track. And as audiences we had already jhelofied everything they had thrown at us during the juhi drama.

Now, that logic aside( and multiple other logics as well), I was pretty excited about the new track. It seemed promising. The promos promised something new, never seen before, intense stuff and most importantly "won't take shit whatsoever " female lead.

But now, what is happening in the story is frankly childish and immature. They are showing Christmas and races, and dances and stupid flirtations?? For someone as troubled as Avni ( since childhood, not just current track) how are these stupid things going to matter? But still her time that is the past 6 months and what she accomplished in them was shown and I am happy with all her fight scenes.

I don't even want to start talking about Neil/Neo angle. The one Character which is being ruthlessly butchered is his. They are not showing any flashbacks with regards to neil pov. And what has he done in these 6 months. As a viewer, how many things are we supposed to take for granted?? That neil has good intentions, he must have done something and what, imagine??

I am not sure where this story line is going anymore. I just hope it doesn't become like the previous track.

The main USP of Avneil's relationship has been their communication and unending Trust and They have deatroyed it so ruthlessly and oh for what,,, DRAMA.!!!

I was waiting for an explaination from Neil for his policy of doing everything secretly, something like "I am Sorry Avni but Agar tumhe pata chalta toh tum ye tum voh" whatever.!!! But again Like all other things we were made to Imagine and believe our own stories.!!!

Sometimes i think CV's forget to show anything from Neil's POV and that very fact is butchering his character steadily yet gravely, for me atleast.

As u said His POV for last 6 months is still lost somewhere. Why o why? How many times we will satisfy ourselves with our own formulated theories.!


The track though seemed promising in start, now falling flat, just lime our hopes, and that too in less than 2 weeks.! I found only 2-3 epis interesting followed by yet again the illogical crap esp regarding Neil's and Neela's character.!
