We are a week into this track and I am personally enjoying it, yes it has some flaws but what track does not? CVs are trying their best to rectify what went so horribly wrong during the Juhi track and they are succeeding. Neil and Avni are not the same people who had the wool pulled over their eyes or who were ruled over their emotions during Mishti's track. Today these are two people who stand before you as changed people, Avni is no longer being reckless and impulsive her each and every move is well thought out. Neil, a man who always fought for the system is now someone who fights against it because he knows that system failed to get justice for his wife. The role reversals have been beautifully shown between Neil and Avni and I am looking forward to seeing how these two interact now that both have rubbed off on each other in the most surprising of ways.
Neela, I love her character the way she looks out for both Neil and Avni is just a treat to watch. One of the most beautifully written characters I have watched, she has broken the stereotypes not only for a step mother but a mother in law as well. I am happy she is playing a pivotal role in this track.
Ali, what a gem this guy is. The CVs could have easily turned him negative when Avni fell in love with Neil but they did not. This show proved to be unique by keeping Ali's character intact and only increasing the respect of the friendship he shares with both Avni and Neil, there is no awkwardness between them just a pure, solid friendship. I love that Ali is a part of this track and trying to help Avni escape since he never wanted Avni in jail in the first place.
Vidyut, one of the best villains I have watched. Normally villains are scenes you want to fast forward because the characters are OTT or just cringeworthy to sit through but not Vidyut. Vidyut is intriguing and I love that he is giving Avni and Neil tough competition, he actually brings out the best to both. I don't think anyone ever dreamed they would see Neil as Neo or Avni taking a more calm and thoughtful approach in destroying Vidyut.
At first I was not in favor of a real separation but now I see the potential, it also helps shake things up since there were fans who were tired of the fake separations. There are many ways this track can go but being cliched is not NK's MO, there is always more twists and turns and I look forward to how things unfold given Neil's possessive nature for Avni, Vidyut's obsession reaching its peak and Avni being a force to be reckoned with all on her own.
