@Reeh:
I totally appreciate what you are saying and I do agree with you on many points! Like I said before this is not a "Cry me a River coz I am a misunderstood celebrity" post where I feel sorry for celebrities because people are sometimes being rude to them! This was more about pointing out some Hard facts! Hence the title "Let's get real!".

Because the reality is that the social media handles are a way for actors to promote themselves and their shows. On the other hand some of their personal things will be posted there too. Some do this more than others. Yes you will get good comments and bad. You will be happy with good, not so happy with bad. The same works for fans too. Celeb appreciates them, sometimes they dont! It's a two way street.

But the issue here is when people start thinking that just coz someone is their fave actor and they like them to be seen with "X or Y" and not with "A or B", now the actor needs to know tow to their demands! THAT is the issue. So when they are seen with "said person or persons" fans don't like they get trolled and worse their friend/ friends/ partners get trolled and abused. ALL this, coz fans think they have the right to decide or dictate who this person should be seen with / out with, spending time with etc. THIS is the real issue.

Yes Zain took a stand (albeit considered juvenile by some) to defend his friend! Maybe some people think Nalini is a liability for Zain. She's not the person he should be seen with etc. Well he clearly does not think that, and as he has said many times they have known each other a long time. It just seems after NK their friendship has been highlighted, especially coz Nalini was on the show too. People don't like her for playing Rhea and then of course for being Zain's friend and hanging with him when Aditi was never seen with him. This was the problem many had. Well that's tough! THIS is why we need to get real. Aditi and Zain will only hang out if they wish to do so! Abusing people that hang out with either of them and who's pictures land on social media is not the way to react. If you don't like it, just ignore it. Don't go abusing people you don't even know! That is all I was saying.

Even I have opinions on this subject, but I would never presume to go on Insta and write on Zain's page of how he should not be seen with X or Y, or abuse/troll his friends coz I don't approve of them! That's my problem, not his!

Completely agree with u Mandy. The maim problem is some fans don't understand the difference between real n reel. We have no right to select with whom Zain n Aditi will hang out, be friends or date. It's their life.
As u said respect is a two way street. Fans can't expect that they will bash his friends and forcefully try to hook them up with their co-star and they won't say anything and keep loving them.
Both of them needs to act maturely and respect each others private life

Bang on... Very well written... I personally feel no fan has any right on the actors personal life... Who are their friends, who they hang on with is purely their personal... Fans should limit their comments upto their acting skill and not interfere in their personal lives...

Actually being a public figure doesn't mean that you don't have your private space... Yes , that's right... But you should be aware that you are a public figure...

I think it's not the first time fans are trolling Nalini for being in the same frame as Zain, so Zain should have been already aware that what would happen if he post something like that again, not a new thing... so he should definitely be ready to take it, i don't see anything unexpected happened here...

If those comments doesn't affect you, then what's wrong in posting them again... If they really hurt you, then it's your choice... You can either refrain from posting them, or you can respond to fans for those comments... Again it's your choice to do it in a softer way or the other... keep the fans happy or not... Whatever you do, you should be ready to face the response...

As far I have understood, Zain is a person who is very much concerned about his fans, and had been really nice to them till now... May be he reacted so, because his friend is involved in the mess... Actually I was expecting this from him since a long time, his friend was being trolled just for the reason that she is friends with him... Infact it was a very nice gesture, but was executed a bit less maturely...

Actually ppl were furious on him from before due to his repeated statement on coming in live chat but his own problem he skipped it. Later in late night party not only he but also jahan reciprocated with those furious followers on behalf of nalini on whom ppl already have gathered huge hatred due to her statement " they don't care about fans" on her getting bash due to her role n friendship with zain n here ppl thought that 'They' are actually she n zain. N here these actors did a flaw to take panga with those ppl. They simply could ignore this matter like they did till date. I think zain n others maybe didn't think situation could be this way ugly in social media. anyway bygones be bygones .I think in life behind happening any incidence there remains reason n from now zain also will become more cautious in social media in handling his fans. Whatever will have to be done it will be done by actors as I've already said that this large numbers of fans those don't want to understand that actors have also personal life n shouldn't interfere in it is impossible to stop them just giving preach. They won't ever understand it . Okay from my side I'm closing this topic here. N hope this kind of ugly situation won't be repeated ever.

In live chat ...when fans asked him about nalinis statement in press he clearly said it' between you guys u have to handle in your own way. Either he has to be neutral like his statement above or if he takes a stand let him take a stand like a decent sorted guy he is. Release a clear and stern statement to fans to not repeat such things.

Sorry to say Mandy but posting that pic was no less than showing his middle finger ( especially at that point of time). I never expected this from zain at all. What he does has a larger impact and larger consequences as well. What some part of crazy fans say or do doesnt change or influence anything at all.

His way of taking a stand in that manner ( i feel is quiet immature) was quiet irresponsible and not expected of him at all.

@Merav:
Yes agree his methods were flawed and clearly his choice of how to give back to fans was clearly misguided. When we stoop to the level of trolls to teach them a lesson we end up looking bad too. That is what happened here.

Zain is better than this. Hope he realises that for the future!

Yes I agree what Zain n co. did was not right. They too behaved just like those fans. They tried to give them back in their own language. Eventually which backfired on them. They being the older n public figure should have thought trough this before posting anything like that. Cause nobody knows the real identity of those immature fans but everyone knows Zain.
But even though his actions were not appropriate it was in reaction to those fans. We can't deny that they started it. They were getting too much out of hand. When Nilu ji posted those pics they made that post a complete mess. I myself told them to learn the difference between real n reel and don't interfere in Zain's personal life and guess what they bashed me too.
They r the ones who r continuously bashing Zain's lady friends and when Zain protested albeit in a wrong manner they made a huge drama over it.
I know even if Zain had protested in a good way they would have still created a scene.
The problem is they don't understand and neither they want to understand the difference between real n reel. And they think that they have a right on Zain. Which they don't.
