My observation completely since Juhi's entry,
- 3 weeks before Juhi's entry in the show, TRP's were stable around 4300's with all the AvNeil self realization of love towards each other, them showing right on each other as husband and wife. Condo scenes were divine. I guess, if they had continued on this track then TRP would have risen. No matter how regressive we think Indian audience are but they love positivity majorly with small dosage of drama rather than other way round (YRKKH is an example)
- The week when Juhi entered, with Shweta planning and plotting to separate AvNeil. Avni- Juhi meeting. Neil's pouring of love for Juhi in front of Avni, reminiscing his past. The TRP straight away went down from 4249 to 3718. This was the first alarm. It was a huge drop, which CV's ignored. TRP Audience started guessing a third love angle would be played out and same old male lead running after his ex, so the drop.
- TRP marginally went up when we got lovely AvNeil scenes when Avni was on high and confessed what she feels about Neil and he also responding. The Trp rised only marginally cause we also had Dargah scene where Neil left Avni running after Juhi. It is complete No-No zone for TRP audience. We got Neil redemption immediately so it balanced out.
- TRP again went down next week by 300 points which is not small drop, when Avni went to RM to rescue Juhi, mind you TRP audience dont watch OLV like us. So it was red flag that Avni is giving up on Neil to bring back his first love. 3rd angle confirmation for them.
- TRP rised marginally again when RM track was playing out, when Avni accepted her love for Neil in front of Ali. AvNeil attempt to get out of RM to be with each other. A hope for Audience that things will be better.
- TRP increased by 700 points, it was rescue mission of Avni & Juhi by Neil & his team, death of dayawanti, Pandit in coma and most important Avni and Neil's confession of love indirectly to each other. It was a huge high. Audience love such tracks where they see hope of happy ending. It was indication for them that good times are back for Avni-Neil after so much hardship.
- Next week the TRP straight away went down by 500 points. This was the second alarm. It was a huge drop, which CV's again ignored. Avni's proposal to Neil, Neil disclosing about his child with Juhi, Juhi cry baby and majboor face throughout, Avni-Neil fight, Marriage planning by family, Neil left Avni at alter to console Juhi in hospital, Juhi-Neil hug and Neil's promise to never leave Juhi. Audience new it that third angle is on display, male lead running after his ex leaving his lawfully wedded wife at the alter, so the drop.
- CV's didn't learnt anything from previous week drop and came the lowest TRP since the leap 3677. This was the week when Avni leaves Neil & left for Goa, Vidyut-Mishti entry, Neil denies to look out for Avni frustrating viewers and family, over chanting of Juhi and kid, no concern for Avni, Neil Left for Auckland in search of kid. Which audience would like to see a hero doing villains job. Drop was obvious as they TRP audience was not aware about Zain giving hint about some pre-planning by AvNeil.
I think the damage was done in Week 41. After the high of Rang mahal closure track they straight away went to baby daddy track, which viewers were not expecting as well as didn't took well. Which impacted Week 42 as well, the lowest TRP since past 3 months.
Audience wanted some happy moments between Avni & Neil. Some romance, family moment, light hearted track.
They also spoiled Avni's proposal, which was a highest point according to me with respect to how her character growth.
Goa track that is Week 43 somewhat brought viewers back as it was focussed on Neil-Avni and them being together. It was stable till week 44, 45 as viewers expected Juhi's lie to be revealed but it never happened, which resulted in TRP going down in Week 46 & now Week 47 (Neil-Juhi side hug along with Neil caressing Juhi is a huge contributer here 🤢)
