Have a look at the arrest history of Neil in his career
Neil arrested Amol for his accident and Neela's kidnapping. Next day he was out on bail.
He arrested Dayawanti, Diksha and Ketan for a series of crimes. By teaming up with RP, Daya found a luxurious life in jail,frequently making outdoor visits while Diksha and Ketan vanished in thin air
He arrested Ballu for being involved in RP's illegal activities but he also got bail.
He tried to arrest Vidyut but could not arrest him.
He arrested RP and now she is also released.
The only person whom Neil arrested and he is in jail is Amol because its Amol's decision to serve the jail term for his crimes.
So basically this means Neil's arrests don't yield any result and he is just an overhyped supercop
