But see it does not necesary that u should relate to someone's situation from ur life to be generous towards them. It will go more along the lines of sympathy.
Its just a true and kind heart that is required to feel someone's pain (though u never went through it in ur life) and go out of way to help them and support them. Thats actual generousity.
