@Mandy!!! I agree with you Avni and Neil being shown doing the good things for cute lil Misthy is very positive.. Thank you so much for a sweet post with positivity !!! Im not so good at words but seeing your posts I never been away to write few lines...

😉 Avneil has shown being a lot more of not just bonding and relationship. Their trust is above each other -- in love , respect and happiness which is very important for any relation between a couple. Neil always have given support to the broken Avni and shown her what true love is. And how beautiful a family is.. with love given love showers .

Avneil concepts in different tracks

T-Trust for each other !!with Ali Avni relationship!!!
R-Romance -- all the Hai dil hai Mushkhil.
U-understanding is always there from beginning and more after marriage in heights.
E-expressions always have expressed neil love
L-listening both have listened o each other at all times
O-overcoming the fears of life and revenge
V-values-- learnt the value of family and responsibility
E- everyone knows they about each other -meaning everything of each other ..

Avni standing for Neil in the marriage is her character as selflessness and trust for Neil. Bcoz Neil himself said the past never changes what he feels for Avni.

If past daughter comes from first love- a wife should accept and move on and care too.. Naamkarann tracks are unique and I fall for every aspect of the concepts of taking relationship and love in a boat to reach the shore. Neil character has been shown butchered in this track !!!! Everyone is saying this!!! for me the character has reached heights from a good man with good moral values to a complete family man in more values when it comes to his responsibility for his daughter and his love for Avni. Neil wants Avni by his side thru this journey and he is not hiding anything from Avni giving value to wife as there should be nothing hidden from her. Neil is respecting JUHI as friend and any human being does the same as he did..Neil is a very supportive character as well as a super cop tillu.. he never uses his job for his own daughter is what made me say man this charcater is so so UNIQUE

Avni is a special character and she shows what and how a women should be and Avneil being parents for Misthy is to show how much u stand by for your partner/ hubby👏.

Naamkarann is really needed show for everyone who loves love and relations with respect.

I agree with your post, Mandy!
Neil definitely has his flaws. And his plan has flaws as well.

The question of running a DNA test on Mishti was raised by many- A DNA can't be done without Mishit's presence.

In regards to Juhi, I can understand why Neil didn't question her- partly! I think since he himself is not clearly on what happened that night, he put his trust in this woman whom he used to love/date. So far, I don't see a solid reason why Neil would have doubted her claim. I mean she's even been claiming that she doesn't want Neil and only her bacchi. I mean as much as I hate Juhi's acting, and her abysmal portrayal doesn't really make me believe her, but let's take her words to be true ( by putting our trust in the CVS). I mean at this point, we know she's lying and it's a matter of revealing why she lied... But, Neil has really no reason to not trust her at this point.

In addition, Neil has moved on. I think the conversation he's had with Bebe while Avni was in RM was foreshadowing what we know already. Even if he pretends to go back to Juhi for the sake of " the child", he would not be able to honour that relationship. His heart and his life belongs to Avni. He's clearly in love with his wife, and why should either of them have to sacrifice their relationship and their marriage for something that happened one night? Had Neil had a one night stand, would the expectations been the same?

Avni is being mature in accepting her husband's past. Was she hurt by it? Of course, what wife will want to deal with her husband's love child? But, knowing how she feels about Neil and how Neil feels about her, why should she give up her happy ending?

I did NOT like the phone conversation with Juhi. It was annoying. I think that's the one thing that will hurt Avni- having to listen to Neil bond with Juhi because of Mishti so hopefully that track won't be running too long now. Avni is very secure in her relationship with Neil; like Neela Ma told Neil, Avni trusts him more than she trusts herself. But, as I mentioned already no wife would want to see their husband bond with another woman. Which would explain her jealousy when seeing Sakshi flirt with her husband.

As for the plan, Avni has been equally involved with the planning of this mission so having anything related to the mission hurting her, is hard for me to believe. Avni is very mature - she's been in Mishit's shoes and I think regardless of who the father is, AvNeil would have done the same ( and will do the needful in the future) to ensure that Mishti has the best life possible.

Avni has decided that Mishti will not become another Ananya Verma. I think there's a significance why she didn't say Mishti will not become another Avni Ayesha. But, rather Ananya Verma. AV is the alter ego of Avni. AV was the persona created for revenge. Mishti and Avni are very different in terms of their childhood and background.

I was actually wondering if maybe Avni Ayesha is more similar to Vidyut R ( R for Ragini)? Maybe VR hated his father for a particular reason and therefore took his mother's first name as his last? I mean he clearly adores his mother, and he even wears a letter 'R' on his necklace, similar to the the necklace Avni used to wear?

My only problem with this track ever since Juhi has been introduced is that Neil's actions and words doesn't match. I personally do not get the feeling that Juhi is not his love anymore. He can help Juhi, care for her and having feelings for his so called daughter, wanting to save her, and even blindly believe it's his daughter- all accepted. But when I see his actions and reactions in Juhi related incidents has never given me the feeling that she's not the most important part of his life anymore. The CVs probably in an effort of to create the mystery/drama has compromised certain things. So to me Neil Khanna acts like Juhi is (and not was) a most important part of his life. There are his facial expressions, his prioritizing her problems over everything and tons of other things that go beyond his words to the contrary . CVs/Zain has not succeeded in showing that Avni is his love and life right now. I thnk that's why people have difficulty accepting this track. Otherwise it had potential if shown properly. They should have been careful in handling Neil and his actions. Few things properly handled would have made a huge difference. Instead they just gave empty dialogues and actions that speak otherwise.

I agree with what you wrote about Avni. We get where Avni and her commitment comes from. Her past, her trust in Neil, we, as an audience understand her and even stand with her.
But Neils character has completely gone bonkers with this track. During RM burning track, though he was chanting juhi juhi 24x7, his priorities were crystal clear. He cared for avni and every single scene showed his caring for avni. He didn't let her walk into danger. Avni did it.

Next came the beti bachao track. Clearly Neil has blinders on. His thoughts has become more focused on juhi and child. And viewers doesn't expect it. One can claim he already choose Avni so there is no need to prove anything. But his actions speak volumes. Let me put it in simple terms.

He has hurt his family especially his mother who had a big change of heart.
He has hurt Neela ma.
He has hurt Ali
He has hurt Dd
He has misused his position to create fake juhi death drama to get a shoot at sight order for Ragini pandith

The Neil I know wouldn't do that.

Above all,
He let his concern for child and Mishti overshadow his protectiveness of Avni. That's a big change considering the fact that protecting avni was Neils first instinct everytime.

Cvs might be plotting the fall of Neils trust by accentuating it. They may want to show all these to intensify juhi s betrayal later. But they choose a bold approach.it can make or break a character. So far I am not liking it.

^^ In regards to Neil showing Avni how he feels and where he stands in terms of action, it won't be exactly the same situation as with the RM track. I think there's no clarification required at this point. We know exactly where they both stand and it wasn't something we had to interpret " Oh Neil said this to person X," or " Avni said this and totally meant this...". This track actually showed us how they feel through the flashback. We heard the words "I love you," straight from Neil's mouth and he said that to Avni's face. She got down on one knee and asked him to choose her... and he did! I don't see how the CVs could have made it clearer where the leads stand.

I think, @Subiaman, you're having trouble with the fact that Neil allowed Avni to go to VR's house and stay there. But, really, had Neil wanted to stop her, she would not have stopped. We all know how far Avni can go for him, which was proved in the RM track. We saw how much effort Neil put in stopping her, and he wasn't successful and she still ended up inside RM. I think had the CVs gone the same route again, the storyline would have been repetitive. In this track, Neil showed his care in a different way, he was in constant communication with her and he had her 123 gang keeping an eye on her. This shows his level of care for his wife. And it was true, Avni was the only one who could have gained entry into VR's house and gained his confidence. The RM track has also shown how resourceful Avni is and Neil had acknowledged that at the jail when he arrested RP. I think it's really commendable how the female lead is the one who's in the forefront and fighting this "evil" as opposed to staying at home and waiting for the hero to come home. This to me is progress and a Nayi Soch, which is what NK is all about.

@Sree07: Neil's heart is crystal clear. There's only room for one person and that's Avni. He currently believes that Mishti is his child, and so of course, any parent would feel the pain/anxiety/etc. of wanting to make sure that their child is safe and away from any predators like VR. Neil's main focus in this track is the child. Although, I think it's not quite fair for me to say that his focus is only the child, because despite the situation that they are in, Neil and Avni are still taking the time to be with each other. Shown in the sneaky phone calls, the beach scene, the dance that's coming up, etc.
And this Goa track seems to be long to us because we're watching it over a period of weeks, but in NK time, it hasn't been long so despite that they're still making time for each other. Neil still finds the time to get lost in his wifey's eyes. 😆

Yes, I agree with you: He hurt Neela Ma ( who now that they've explained the plan to, appears to be satisfied that her daughter's marriage is not at risk), he hurt the Khannas, and DD *( who also understands that his boss has to make some tough calls sometimes).
Did he use his power to make some news on TV? Yes, but it was for the good of everyone. It's a strategy to try to corner the Pandits and make them come out of hiding possibly. The police can use various strategies to catch a criminal. I don't see the media release as a bad thing.

Could he have dealt with the Juhi being murdered infront of his family better? I think so. I think that was a little too bold for a civilian family to witness but this is a dramatization. It's a serial. It's bound to be a little dramatic.

Coming to your point about his feelings for Mishti getting in the way of the overprotectiveness for Avni, I disagree. For one, Mishti is a 5 year old child, who's been traumatized by VR. The doll ripping is a terrifying act to witness as a small child. She can't even speak infront of men on some days. She's defenceless, and could be in grave danger if VR realizes what Neil is unto. We have to consider that Neil is still in the mindset that VR is not related to this child and therefore has no attachment to her. Avni on the other hand, as Neil says, she's resourceful, she knows how to get out of situations and sometimes stays one step ahead of him.

To me that shows, how confident Neil is of his wife's abilities and how he trusts her and her judgement. I mean, he placed "his child's" life in HER hands. This is exactly what makes their relationship so unique and such goals.

Aptly said. I totally agree except for the fact that I (hvn't seen the olvs or spoilers) thought that AvNeil would take Mishti out and that would be the end of Vid. but it didn't even occur to be that there is a possibility that the CVs are setting AvNeil to fail.
[QUOTE_.Mandy.] Neil and Avni are goals as a couple but even they can have their foolish moments. I guess CVs chose to go this route because it paves way for more of a battle between Vidyut and AvNeil. Since this track started it has been in AvNeil's favor, everything has been going their way but things can never run so smoothly there had to be a means for Vidyut to get the upper hand so I feel that is what CVs were trying to do here. I don't agree with it but what's done is done and I just look forward to Neil v/s Vidyut. Karam and Zain are excellent in their roles and then you have Aditi added to the mix, these three manage to stand out in whatever scenes they are in. [/QUOTE]

Which makes perfect sense because we need Avneil together and as a team, against someone else, be it DW, Ragini pandit or now Vid. Otherwise, then the leads get separated.

and we can't have the heroes always win so easily now can we?

The first time they don't DW was in jail and they had won. but she came back -via Ragini pandit-- but still. The game wasnt over. and now this one. so yeah.
Thank you for writing the post. the overwhelming negativity was not even making me want to come to the forum.

We just have to trust the CVs, they haven't mislead us yet.

@nlisa, I don't have problem with Neil and Avni's plans or him sending her to VR. I love that they are in this together- the only saving grace in this track. I repeat- My problem is with the way he interacts with Juhi, which reads to me as more than a normal person/ or family member. He gives her way too much importance. An ex is an ex- not your current love. No one treats an ex as if he/she treats as a special person in your life- especially if you are married and has a wife whom you loves. I get that he loved her a lot and she was taken away from his life. But he claims to have moved on. His actions doesn't look like that! I don't know how to explain more than this.

@Mandy you have beautifully analyzed every situation love your writing and I can see that you really believe AvNeil will very upset with juhi for keeping them in the dark but with with the way things are going and all the spoiler pictures I don't think that will be the situation specially since CV's are hell bent on showing that Juhi is positive
