Most important doubt???

Where are those divorce papers during RM episodes Neil wanted to sign ? Neil did not destroy them yet ...do they serve any further purpose ? Or the papers forgotten they have no significance??? Or Neil will sign them under some kind of pressure ? What do you think let me know.
