Like duh. Planning for adoption or no adoption or whatever, comes much later.
Also. Neil isn't devoid of emotions. No one is devoid of emotions. They just know how to keep it under check.
And he need not apologise for anything. He might have left her at the altar - but that was part of their plan. The suicide may not have been. But Neil would have left enabling Avni's sudden exit from the house. Otherwise it won't make sense right.
Also, as far as the kid being his or not is concerned, I guess Neil would have considered and kept that point aside. Because, when he talks to Neela, he clearly says, even if it is not my child, I would save her because she's an innocent kid. Whatever whatever.
So they would get to it later. First things first.
The whole planning thing isn't perfect or justified. Keeping the family in the dark on the whole is idk. Weird. But it's to keep audience in the dark. Basically. Other than that. I don't see anyone having to apologise to anybody. I speak only for myself, but I absolutely adore Neil. As a character. So I am more of a Neil fan. Though I love Avni. I never see why he needs to be wrong. Coz he isn't. Having a kid before marriage isn't a crime. Whether a man or a woman. Not being apologetic on that front isn't wrong.

Yes I understand rescuing the kid is priority now but for that human emotions can't be ignored. No matter how much people try to be practical and rational in their approach, this type of revelations are bound to affect them emotionally which should be shown in their actions and behavior.

^^^ Sorry can't quote. I agree emotional upheavals are part of every show and we are so used to it, that the lack of them feels incomplete. Also, what justifies this supposed lack of emotion for me is that, for Avni as a person, she empathises with the child, and that empathy is a greater emotion than anything else. More than the insecurities regarding her husband.
And Neil's lack of emotion, I guess it's because he's still not able to connect with the kid. There's more to it than what they are showing. They still haven't shown everything.

I think the reason why Cvs are not dwelling much on Neil's emotion, family's reaction or Avni's insecurities is because they are eventually gonna show that the child isn't Neil's. So they must have thought it not worth to focus on that. If that is the case I expect better execution and progression. What the characters are doing now is plain confusing.

Even the securest woman will not be not okay with her husband having a child with his ex then how come Avni (a girl with such a dark past filled with insecurities) is suddenly cool with it is beyond my belief. Don't tell me its because Neil gave her the reassurance that his past won't affect his present. In reality it doesn't work like that.

Till the time they are showing that Neil is under the impression that the kid belongs to him they should have shown some sort of emotions and guilt feeling from his side. If it is done keeping in view that the viewers may not like Neil displaying emotions for the child then viewers are even more hating Neil calling the child as meri bacchi.
Avni was so insecure when Juhi returned but it is strange that she is not showing insecurity about a child from Juhi where as an ex can always be removed from life but removing a child from ex is not possible. The existence of a child should have made Avni more insecure. Love child has to impact one's present and future and with the child in picture the probablity of the ex's impact in their life also stays.

Tell me about it. Even if Avni has a heart of gold, showing her insecurities won't make her any less of a person. That is what makes you humane at the end of the day. We all loved and connected to her when she displayed her vulnerabilities during the rang mahal track. I want to see the same here too.

The reason why I was okay with this track till yesterday is because I like everybody thought there is more to that proposal scene. But now when its clear that Avni really thinks its Neil's child, then its making me question her each reaction after that and am more and more disappointed with her character.

Also its still not clear what Neil really thinks of this kid, he is going back n forth with 'Tumhari bachi'-'Hamari bachi' 'Uss bachi'-'Meri bachi'
Can he please stick to a term? I feel like the Cvs are toying with us.
I can't daily tell myself to be patient and wait for the twist to unfold for its not a 2.5 hour mystery movie but a daily soap.

As Neil says if he is not Ashish Mehta
He will take responsibility of both Juhi and Mishti

So his plan is everyone staying together Avni Neil Juhi Mishti
And Mishti can have two mammas.

And Avni doesn't want Mishti to become Ananya Verma
In that case she is Neil's wife and Mishti is illegitimate child. So her only option is leave Neil and let Juhi has her happy ending which Anvi's Mom Ayesha never had.

Really CVs

The twist should have been Neil knowing it's not his kid and he is just helping as a good cop.

When Neil and avnis plan fails avni will be stuck with mishty and vidyuth...She cannot back out now. Meanwhile juhi will be roaming in khanna house...don't know how long can Neil stay in goa. When ballu or ragini pandit will come to know of avni and vidyuth knows then it becomes a dangerous game. I have a feeling when the plan fails Neil will ask avni to back out but our stupid avni will not she will say with lot of difficulty the child is trusting me now so I cannot back out. She will be in undercover giving info to Neil but then what next ???? Is the big question.

Gosh, this is the most pathetic track the CV's could ever come up with. Most probably CV's might actually do this. I thought Naamkaran was a unique serial. The whole Juhi angle is boring.
But the serial is about Avni fighting to get her identity in society.

The Bold makes more sense.
