Amol a year younger than me grabbed the chocolates but my six year self was still hesitant but took it when Asha ma introduced them, " Beta this is Raj Uncle and Shweta Aunty. "Hi Uncle." I said shaking hands with him and soon we striked a good bond in the front porch of house itself.
"Ali Neil what are you two doing inside come out." Shweta Aunty Shouted and One tall curly brown haired boy came out literally dragging another boy with black hairs and a bit younger than him.
"Mom look at him he wasnt ready to come out." Ali Bhai that I fondly call him said annoyed.
"Tillu. Behave." I hear Shweta aunt glare at the boy who had been hiding all while behind her And I really found the name really adorable.Tillu.
"Leave it Bhabhi kids are like that. Let them play here with Avni and Amol." pa said laughing
"Neil come out look who is here." Raj uncle said making the boy peer at me hesistantly he was a handsome boy with brown orbs and a cute lil nose.
"This is Avni and that is Amol" We were introduced and soon left to ourselves as Elders went inside the house.
"Hi. Am Ali." Ali bhai said and "this is my idiot brother..."
"Tillu?" I asked laughing
"Ya." He replied laughing seeing his bros face going all red.
"Hey! Dont call me that." He Said angrily.
"Dont shout at my Didu" Amol said defending me. Aww. While Ali bhai tried to stop the two infernos.
"Then tell your Didu to keep quiet. As if I dont like girls." He spoke rudely.
"And I dont like Rude Boys. Kadoos." I said stomping off .
Rest evening went in blur as I and Ali Bhai played badminton well tried to and Neil and amol patched up and played football.
The Elders who met after long years chatted for hours long while Ali bhai and Amol slept leaving me and Neil alone. I am a girl who loves to talk so I thought why not be the bigger person and make up with him.
"Why you dislike girls?" I ask him sitting beside him near the pond in our garden startling him.
"Because all they do is play with barbies and cry at every single thing." He said rather rudely.
"But ma says Am brave and I didnt even cry when doctor gave me injection. Am so strong And I dont like Barbies I love remote control cars. You can like me." I said innocently.
And then for first time he looked at me and Smiled.
"Friends?" I ask.
"Friends." He said shaking hands.
