Even I am finding this silence rather unnerving. I am no longer going to speculate. I don't know what the actual twist is, and it's difficult to tell what sort of twist they are planning. If Juhi is not negative, then it makes things even more complicated.

This is an MB show, so I will reserve judgment as they are known for their bold themes. But I heard the show is based on the movie Zakam (which I did not see but know the story a bit). It was about how two people in a mixed marriage had to hide their relationship and how society didnt let them get together as they wished. In many ways Ashish and Ayesha's story was the same. Prejudice stopped them from getting together and then Ashish's weak stance against his Mother and her manipulations.

Then the story becomes about their child and her fight to get justice to be recognized as Ashish and Ayesha's daughter and not have to apologize for her parents. This show was not supposed to be about how ALL illegitimate children fight for rights. At least I didn't think it was. So just making the male lead have an illegitimate child I don't feel is really necessary to the story. But we don't know what the makers are thinking.

One side note though, I feel the Khanna's have been hypocritical in this matter. They made a song and dance when they found out that Avni was Ashish's daughter from his relationship where he did not officially marry. His situation was totally different from Neil's. Neil was just a student and as per the current track, he was about to leave the country for further studies, but was irresponsible enough to get his GF pregnant before leaving. Now 5 years later this truth has come out, but his family gives NO reaction to it at all. They have not even once expressed ANY disappointment towards him. They act like its all OK for their then 22-year-old son to have got a girl pregnant. How come for Neil they turn a blind eye to this bitter reality, and when they found out about Avni's parentage they made her leave the house? Double standards much? Even Prakash has not once asked his son "what were you thinking? I did not expect this from you!". I find this blase attitude quite unacceptable.

I always enjoy reading ur POV.

It is a chaotic situation in khanna house right now. Even I was disappointed that none in the family questioned about his reckless mistake in the past...i know they can't change anything but still. One side zain in the interview says u will come to know why I said bacha is my types soon and on the other we get a promo where avni says is bachi ki zindagi meri tarah hooney nahein doonghi and ms chuhi says her role is positive. This leaves us nowhere to guess the further plot. But I am so fed up with this juhi- Neil scenes. I just hope at least we know something of avneil plan in this week so that this total juhi- Neil rant makes some sense. Otherwise i am sure the TRP will come down.

Thanks for the compliment. Yes the Khanna's are in shock. But their lack of a proper reaction, or lets say "understated" reaction to this news is a bit off. I guess they have not had the time to write many scenes with recriminations from the family towards Neil as there is literally too much going on right now.

Whatever this Twist is, it better be good. But you are right it's confusing. The cast says there is a twist and a reason for Neil to say he is the Father. (Implying as if there is more to it). Then I hear they are showing a Promo where Neil tells Avni "I am the Father of this kid" and then Avni saying she wont let the kid have the same fate as her! So almost suggesting as if they are "re-loading" their illegitimate kid trying to get justice storyline and this time Avni is not that child but the "champion" of that child.

I don't know what to think anymore. For the first time, I am losing faith in the makers. I think I feel let down coz as many did, I too idolized Neil's character, as he was shown so strong and so principled from the get-go. But now to see he did have feet of clay is tough to take. Now he is also stuck between wife and ex like many other loser ML's. So we are all struggling with this. You never know TRP aunties might like this Jagat Mata saving Pati ki Kaand ki nishani type story. Who knows what they want to see? LOL. Lets hope for the "Loyal" fans, they give us something we like to see! This Vidyut better come fast as he is my LAST hope literally.
