Hey. I'm usually a silent reader, basically because most of my opinions are very unpopular. This is one of those instances. I have to say that it is so refreshing to see that drama is not being stretched. It makes the show very realistic, which is the basic essence of NK.

I loved the realisation and proposal. They were very "Avni" - she's not the kind of chick to jump around once she's realised that she's in love. She realised when she was in RM which is realistic because you do think of your loved ones more when you're away from them or are worried about not seeing them again/for a while which was the case during the RM track. She was upfront about her feelings and accepted them there and then.

Every girl would be a little insecure if an ex turns up; every man too! Her actions of being a little hesitant in the Shweta scene was perfect! But still she went and proposed - she's a strong girl and I think her strength comes from her faith in Neil and his love.

The proposal was brilliant - Avni is the type of girl who goes for what she wants so the "please choose me" was beautiful! I didn't find it "begging" at all, which I see is what some people thought on here, IG and Twitter. I realise that not many people are happy with Neil's reactions - hell, if I was Avni, I would have been mad AF. But you have to commend Neil for not hiding anything and just coming out with it which in hindsight, is much better than accepting the proposal to get the love of his life and then drop the bombshell on her. It shows that Neil is a true man. I also have to bow to Avni as a character for being mature enough to hearing him out. Again very refreshing. And I'm damn sure that this hearing out is the whole reason everything is happening - it has to be an AvNeil plan!

As for their anniversary, in my opinion, they did celebrate it. Alone. In their room. I feel they're not a pair who need a party. Their dance was their celebration. Which was STUNNING!! The blushing, the smiles, the everything. I fell in love with that. They don't need to show their love with extravagance; the fact that they're helping each other and have each other's back is their love. Simple.

So basically I am loving this track - I'm waiting to see what else this superhero pair is going to shock us with. Therefore I say bring it on!

Hope you enjoyed the post. Feel free to disagree and discuss - all opinions matter!

I actually completely agree with you. In fact, I think that the uncertainty of what twists and turns are to come is making me more excited for each episode. I just know that we won't be disappointed.

Agreed. They did celebrate in the solitude of their room. Which is usually where we get the best AvNeil moments. This is the space where they really open up to each other, and show each other how they feel.
Sure, it wasn't a long celebration. But, at least they've acknowledged their feelings for each other in those moments. Neil opened up his arms and she happily went in his arms. She felt such sukhoon in his arms. ( It showed!) That was magical in its own and shows so much progress in their relationship.

I didn't think she was begging at all when she proposed. People really need to evolve their thinking a little bit and understand that if a woman wants something she has the right to ask for it. Besides, she knew that Neil had already bought a ring for her. He already wanted her. He's repeatedly said so in RM so how is she begging for something that she already has?

I'm not super crazy for the track- and the reason for that is Poonam. She cannot act and her acting and her screen time seems so cringe worthy to me. I hate when she comes on the screen because I know it's going to be crappy acting and the only reason I bear with it is because of the rest of the cast and how much I love the show. I think once she gets less screen time, I'll enjoy it more. Her crying and her begging ( Please note, that what Juhi did today in the episode is what is called begging. " Please get me my child. Please get me my child!") has gotten old already. I'm ready to see something new, but knowing the caliber of the actress, I know I'm NOT getting to see more/better acting from her.

I'm really hoping the CVs are reading these posts and are ready to understand that Poonam needs to be phased out of the script. Continue with the track but please save us from the rubbish acting.

Oh my goodness! I can't believe I didn't talk about the hug! That was the whole point!! But absolutely - "sukoon" is the right word! They fit together perfectly, like a jigsaw puzzle. The best hug I've seen for a while on Indian TV.

As for Juhi, the less said about her, the better! I'm trying to give her the benefit of the doubt but I'm starting to lose my patience. It's the same thing and same expression, day in and day out! Also I can't relate to the character. She was in captivity for years and she can't help out her own daughter who is basically in captivity too and who may be subjected to worse in years to come. I DONT GET THAT AT ALL!

The proposal was one of the best I saw across television in a whole even by words or actions . Avni said it all . I loved every word she said . Kudos to dialogue writer for such amazing writing and applause to Aditi for emoting it picture perfect . It never felt she was begging or demanding when she asked him to choose over Juhi . Time and again he has strongly said by words and actions it's her and only her who's his present and with whom he would want to live every moment of life . So it never felt she begged . But the girl had to hear the most heartbreaking thing as a reply from him . He came to the place to actually discuss about the child . He didn't expect her to propose indeed he asked her to listen to him first . So he had no other way but to break the truth . This is one of the quality which will make you respect Neil . No guy in this world will have guts to share the news ESP to his wife . He did only that and even gave her a chance to walk out which indeed broke him from inside (Zain killed in expressions ) . But Avni understood him . I guess then comes their plan which was cropped .
Like you said this couple never need any celebration . That dance was their private celebration which was beautiful . The hug following that was the best of AvNeil hugs till date . Neil opened his arms and she found that warmth which she won't get anywhere . Every hug of AvNeil always indicated an improvement in their relationship . This showed they had reached a point in relationship where each other's arms are world to them (earlier in some hugs Neil withdrew abruptly .)

I loved the proposal. It was as real and as artless as Avni and that is what made it special. She pulled out all the stops now that she knows he feelings. Before she was confused. Now she is not. She loves Neil. So she laid her cards down and said: "Choose me". I loved that. Someone reminded me that Grey's Anatomy had a similar scene. (Meredith and Derrick). I knew I felt Deja Vu when I saw this scene. At one time I was a huge Grey's fan myself. But Avni's version was just as amazing.

Neil was honest. Told her his truth and gave her an out, braced himself for her rejection which didn't come. That was a great moment too.

Yes the current track is very challenging for the audience. Our Dream Ship as a hole in it. But we are all handling it the best we can. Hoping the hole will get patched up soon. My love for AvNeil is constant. But I have to admit a few months back they had this fresh almost unbeatable magic around them. This does of reality has been dampening. But such is life, just like Art, it's never a smooth ride. Not that even 1 second has been smooth with AvNeil. When they first met it was fire and then it was like this storm. (their relationship pre-marriage). Then the next phase, the marriage, the MU's and then Avni finally telling Neil who she was which he already knew. Their journey together to defeat Daya. How that culminated in a new relationship. (Fake Ehesaan). But pretending to do favors to each other they continued to be in each other's lives coz they didn't want to part.

Finally after Neil's bomb blast incident, things started to take shape between them, where Neil laid down his cards and said he wants to know how she feels about him. Then started the Juhi return phase. But through it all, AvNeil have only grown. Their love has grown and they have become more vocal about their feelings. Now I know nothing can sink this ship. Not Juhi, not the kid nothing. Because Neil was honest and so was Avni. There is nothing to hide. Just waiting to see where this goes now. I dont want a kid in their life right now, but willing to see where this goes.
