The ENTIRE thing (I'm assuming) is Avneil's plan, meaning Avni knows that the kid isn't Neil's, Juhi's suicide is staged and Neil's act of comforting her was just an act, so the entire family thinks that Avni left because she was hurt by witnessing this scene soon after Neil abandoned her at the altar. In the interview, Zain said that Avneil knew that the kid is in the flight to Goa and Avni's bags were already packed.

This is my understanding of the plot anyway. If it turns out to be something else, then we'll have to go back to bashing the cvs.
