Yes Neil apologized for the way he reacted and the fact he left Avni behind at dargah. all Neil said was that he hopes Avni understands that he has many questions after seeing Juhi alive. I too believe they won't speak anything at least not anything that would put Avni's mind at ease about where she stands in his life. CVs will keep viewers in suspense about that for a while until Ali and Juhi are rescued which is fine, I am just glad Neil is not shutting Avni out and they are in this fight together.

Yes , it did look like they tied it together. Somehow the optimist in me hopes that Juhi will remain positive even after all this drama ends and everyone is back home after seeing this bit of dhaga tying- helping Avni tie that mannat ka dhaga and Avni's mannat being Neil 😊😳I agree , eveything at the moment as far as Avni knows is hinting that Neil still loves Avni . He needs to vocalise the place Avni has in his heart asap so that sab theek rahe .I also agree that our Neil is not a typlical ML - Its good to see he is still the intelligent cop trying to unfold the case and is ready to work with Avni on figuring out this Juhi mystery .Love the way the story is moving ahead , I could only see selflessness ,, Love of Avni towards Neel and compassion towards a fellow human being Juhi who has been wronged in Avni. I did not find her Mahaan,.Her current target is to rescue Juhi & Ali and to ensure Neil is safe . While she is in this , I feel she is gonna keep questioning herself time to time on what her place is in Neil's life ,unless Neil himself opens up and tells her in clear terms what she means to him .I dont think she would be asking him about it because confronting feelings openly is entirely new zone for Avni and she already feels herself to be not good enough for Neil , add to that Shweta's non stop Juhi jaap so far ..However, I am looking forward to how Neil reacts now - Will the case take priority now that there are chances of Ali being alive along with Juhi and they need to act fast to get them safe or will he be able to balance the case and his emotions involved with it along with the feelings he has for avni and his need to express them to Avni at the earliest. In the recent episodes , while he was trying to track Ali , he still had a tab on how Avni's mood is and I hope he does the same now and realizes that he needs to reassure her on her place in his life.
I'm an optimist like you, I just don't see Juhi being negative. Juhi had the perfect opportunity to choose her freedom over Avni's life but she did no such thing, she wants to help Avni and I did find the scene between Avni and Juhi to be symbolic. I believe Juhi will help unite Neil and Avni, she won't break them apart.
The execution of Avni's character has played a big role in why she does not look mahaan, why you can understand every emotion behind her actions. Avni really has a big heart even after knowing Juhi is Neil's ex she wants to help her, she is putting aside her insecurities to be a pillar for Neil. I truly respect that.
I am interested to see how Neil balances having Juhi back v/s how to deal with Avni's insecurities talk about being put to the test! I feel Neil's reassurances will go in vein until he tells Avni how much he loves her because right now all Avni can see is Neil, a man who said how much he loved Juhi and grieved for her. Add to that whatever she witnessed tonight, she won't take it as Neil going through the motions she will take it as a man who still loves his ex. Avni is very vulnerable it doesn't take much to shake her.
