Avni is a beautifully written character, there is something about the execution that makes you respect her selflessness instead of making you think she is trying to be mahaan.

Shweta looked genuine today but there is no way she would let go of an opportunity to hurt Avni once she learns Juhi is alive. I am sure everything Neil told her today would be forgotten once Juhi returns, she knows this would make Avni insecure. The way I see it Neil's dialogues foreshadowed what's to come, Neil will choose his wife over Shweta because he cannot live without her. It is like I said in another thread Neil learned to live without Juhi but he cannot live without Avni, she is everything to him.

When a girl get stuck in a brothel, with people like GM they know how to break a girl no matter how spirited they are. Also they consider them as a challenge to break their spirit.

So no may be at one point Juhi was what Neil described but GM knows way to make girls scummed to her demands. Juhi was right it is not easy to escape the life she was forced to lead and this happens in real life as well. Once a girl get stuck in this racket unless they are rescued, there is escape for them.

I have yet to watch the episode will give review later.

^^ This! Based on what Juhi told Ali it does look like she made attempts to escape but it really is easier said than done given the people GM has working for her. Add that to the fact Juhi does not know Neil became a police officer so I believe Neil and Avni will understand she was helpless. The twist may be what GM meant that day when she told Juhi she was mad that Juhi was going to meet someone and how quickly she found another girl wearing Juhi's clothes so Neil would believe she is dead.

Today Neil said to Shweta ' Mein Avni se khud se bhi zyada pyar karta hoon.Avni Meri Zindagi hai.'

@mandy this is it!!!!! In today's episode while she was talking with DD abt juhi I was thinking "watz is it therez something I can feel in this character which I am not able to understand" ...u said it Mandy. ..In other shows if FL is doing all these mahaan type things n sacrifices I really gets irritated!!!! Here m not at all getting irritated rather than I feel something spcl (I dn't knw Hw to verbalise it) to tat character n her doings...I think as you said it is RESPECT!!!!!

I noticed that lately, had this been another show I would have probably been frustrated with Avni by now but instead I respect the beautiful soul she is. You can see what she would do for her loved ones and she really is not wrong in her POV when it comes to Neil and Juhi. Avni is just going on what has been said to her by Neil himself. I truly respect these writers for how they've portrayed Avni and Neil as well, they are flawed but realistically written. Naamkarann has characters you can relate to

The episode was not as intense as last 2 but a very important one none the less. Took the story forward. I am glad Avni is not being a super woman and that DD knows what she is doing and is aware of her visit to the dargah. Atleast she has someone watching over her...it's a realistic approach since they are dealing with hard core criminals.

Today's episode was important to move story forward. I felt bad for Avni her pain on losing place in Neil's life was heart wrenching. But kudos to her pure soul she wants to give closure to Neil on mystery of Juhi death. She poor thing thinks he loves only Juhi as Neil has not yet confessed to her. If she is backing off she is doing purely on basis of her conversations with Neil and insecurities.

Today's episode answered my question of why Neil confided in his mother. He wanted to give his mother's acceptance to Avni. As he knew it was one thing which hurt Avni. He wanted to give that happy family dream. However as Mandy said it also foreshadowed that when push comes to shove he will choose Avni. He was so worried for her safety and wonder what will happen if he comes to know DVM wanted to sell his wife in a brothel.

People say Avni is sacrificing but way I see it she is going by what was given to her or shown to her. Unless Neil clarifies her position in his life she is bound to back off.

2 things I am waiting for that is DVM downfall and her plan to flop miserably and Neil following on promise that if push comes to shove he will choose Avni. I hope Shwetha does not change her colors and follows up on promise made to her son.

Last but not least let Juhi be positive and there be reintegration of her into main society. Human trafficking is very heinous and girls who are victims deserve a fair chance. Let that be nayi soch.

I concur and had written the same thing some times back. Let's see what the CVs have planned though.
