Why him?
"Kaha ka rahi ho avni?" Neil asks standing on the empty road holding avni's hand tightly. The same road where he lost his love for the first time. The same road where Juhi died in his arms. It was an odd timing . He was very confused why avni got him here at this time. 11:40 at night.

11:00 avni returns back to the apartment to see the room empty."neil hi kyu??" She waits for 20 mins till he comes back. His hair wet and messed up as if he ran his fingers through them again and again ...may be in anger..or may be in tension. He clenches his teeth and presses the bridge of his nose closing his eyes... He walks towards her and asks "kaha thi tum avni?..phone kyu nahi utharahi thi?" ...she inhaled with great difficulty. And blinked her eyes several times in a short span as if her doing it would decrease the burning sensation in her eyes. "Avni..."she looked at him ignoring all her feelings "avni tum theek ho ?" He asked sensing something happened. When he doesn't get any reply he cups her face in his both hands "hey..Kya hua avni?..bolo mujeh?...huh?.." he asks unable to see her like that. She finally holds his arm..." Neil..mere saath chalo.."she said grabbing the car keys and drags him along with her.She drives then to the same road with jet speed... but he couldn't really notice that as he was kept in asking her what happened. "Avni.. bologi bhi ya nahi?" The car comes to halt suddenly and avni gets out of the car..."ek min neil.." she says.he gets down and holds her hand tightly.."kya Kar rahi ho avni?" .she holds his other hand..."neil!.." his name escapes her mouth in low tone...almost inaudible.. she unwillingly leaves his hand...and frees her other hand from his grip . He gets more curious as well as confused by her actions. Unable to comprehend things he waits for her next move. "Bas ek min..apne aakhe band karke wait karoge ?" She asks him...this time in a tone , a bit louder than before. He nods affirmatively. She waits till he closes his eyes and walks towards the narrow lane with dim light . As she was approaching the lane ..her pace decreased.. Juhi was standing there...with a small yet genuine smile ..."neil?" She asked. Avni simply nods at her.

Why him?
He felt a hand on his shoulder. "Avni" he said before turning back. He just stood there .. Rooted to the spot...his face was blank. It took him a moment to realise that she's standing in front of him... For real. His eyes warmed up...he touched her cheek to check if she was real. As he touched her cheek..she leaped and hugged him tightly "neil..." And He hugged her back.

Why me?
She slumped down with her back against wall failing to get a grip on her self...her feelings.. she was feeling bad for him until then..and suddenly now seeing them like that ..her heart ached more...she covered her mouth so as to muffle her cries...
There is no fault if him. He is not at fault. She peeped out once again after few seconds ..he cupped juhi's face... he was talking something...she could see happiness in his eyes. She smiled a but seeing him smile...but it didn't last for long... Suddenly she felt betrayed. No she didn't blame him. "Kyu ..kyu ?..mai hi kyu?" Says avni looking up.. towards the dark ..starless sky..."Jo kisi ko mai chahti hu..unko mujhse kyu Cheen lete ho aap?". She says in Feeble tone..
Why US?
Tumhe humesha humesha ke liye giraftar Kar raha hu..mere saath..
"Hum hi kyu?..." She asks again standing up...she did want to see him once..but she turned and walkEd away.
"Neil" Juhi says pulling back from the hug...but his eyes search for avni. "Avni"...he looks around to see see her walking away... He frowned a bit. But just then reality dawned upon him...he looked back at juhi who looked at him in shock. As if she wasn't expecting this. Meanwhile khannas reached the spot. "Papa aap sab?.." neil asks in confusion.b it he doesn't get any reply... All of them stare at Juhi..."Juhi?" Prakash says in shock.

Neela opens the door to find avni at door completely drenched. "Avni..Kya hua bacha?..tum iss waqt...yaha?" She asks in a go. "Andar aa sakti hu ma?" She asks . They sat on the sofa without speaking a word. Neela was worried . Avni wasn't revealing anything . "Ma ..mai tode der sojaungi... please neil call kare toh ... Toh...kehdena ke avni chennai gayi hai..tode din keliye..." She walks to her room without waiting for any reply. Neela knew it was serious. She looked at the wall clock... 2:30... She walks towards avni's room. It was locked but she could hear her sobs.

11:30AM
She wakes up to see neil sitting on an arm chair Next to bed looking at her. She is dreaming ... Isn't she?... She closes her eyes and opens them again...NO!... She gets up in a reflex and moved back towards the headboard. "Tum yaha kya Kar rahe ho?" She asks him. "Kyu?..nahi aasakta yah?" She looks away... Was he here to end things properly...? Her eyes become moist automatically. "Ek criminal baag ne ki koshish kiya... issliye aaya hu" he says. She looks at him in confusion. "Kyu aagayi yaha? Aur Chennai gayi thi madam?...kab ..sapno mein?" He asks coming closer to her. She gets more confused.she stops him by placing one hand on his shoulder... "Neil...tumhe kuch kehne ki zaroorat nahi hai. Mai kuch expect nahi Kar rahi hu...tumhe ye sab soch ne ki zaroorat nahi hai...tum juhi ke saath.." before she could continue he says"mai juhi ke saath kya???!!?" He sits on bed beside her on his knees..."avni tum humesha door jaane ka kyu sochthi ho huh?...sab samajte hai toh tum kyu nahi?..samaj ne ke koshish karo avni" he holds her both hands in his ... " Samaj ne ke koshish karo avni...that I love you..." Avni's eyes widen ..she doesn't say anything for a min..and then wraps her arms around his neck... and pulls him close .."I love you neil" but she pulls back again..."juhi?" She asks him. He gets under the comforter "oh hoo..shorts madam?"
"Woh..Kal baarish hui thi na..toh beegh gayi..batao na.."
He pulls her closer by her shoulder .."toh suno.."

Its been 4 hours since they came to Khanna house. Juhi told about how she came back ..how she met avni..." Mujeh kya pata tha ki avni mujeh mere neil se milvayegi" she said smiling. "Avni..avni ko call karta hu mai" he frees himself from juhi's grip and called avni...Juhi looked at him as if she was seeing him for the first time.. yes she is..she never met this person before. This is a new neil in front of her...not her neil. "Lift kyu nahi Kar rahi hai?!!..arrrgg..avni..."
She walked towards him "neil...idar aao.." she took him towards the living room...where all were seated.."neil tumhein kya hogaya hai?" He easily knew what she was talking about...but he couldn't tell her the reason..."neil tum woh neil nahi ho jisse maine pyaar kiya...agar tum mere neil hote to mere tumhare saamne hone ke bawajood tum kuch aur nahi sochoge...aur iss neil ko..avni ke aage kuch dikhta hi nahi...4 ghante hogaye neil..humein mile...inn 4 ghanto mein kam se kam 100 baar tum avni ke baare mein baat kiya hai.." neil stayed mum all the while..."neil agar theen log pyaar mein hai toh kisi ka toh dil tutega... Aur agar tum mere saath yaha rukh gaye na..theeno ka dil tutega...ek tumhara ..kyu ki tum avni se pyaar karte ho...ek mera kyu ki tum mere saath house bhi mere saath nahi hoge..aur ek avni ka...Jo tumhe pyaar karti hai...woh tumhein iss had tak pyaar karti hai ki tumhare kushi ke khatir apne pyaar ko jaane diya...toh usse jaake samjhao..ke ek dil ka tutna hi behtar hai..go tell her that u love her neil..."

"Mai Juhi se milsakti hu?" Avni asked soon as he finishes.."she left for Dehradun" he replied. Avni kisses his hand which is intertwined with hers..."love you".
"Love you more" he says planting a soft kiss on her forehead. "Tumhe humesha humesha ke liye giraftar Kar raha hu avni...mujhse door jaane ki koshish bhi mat karna.."
"Kabhi nahi...Puri zindagi aise rehna manzoor hai mujeh..." She smiles through tears.
"Sojae tode der?..I didn't sleep whole night..."he said cuddling against her.."aur kya tum roz shorts pehan sakti ho?..aise hi?..." He asked..she laughed and said "manzoor hai"...
