Its a repeat in history, not where Neil is Ashish but where Avni is being Ayesha.
After finding out the truth, rather than going to his mother, Neil went to Avni. Neil stood up against his mother too. He has before, and he will again. He has always stood up for the truth. He's a man of strong morals and righteousness.
Avni, however, doesn't want to hurt Neil and his relationship with his family. Just like Ayesha, who didn't ask for her rights because she didn't want to pose any trouble in Ashish's life. Ayesha let Ashish be free. Avni is letting Neil go. I know we won't see an exact repeat in history, but I thought this was interesting.
I'm also finding Ali to be parallel to Aladdin, in regards to the love triangle.
