Does Neil remember?

Among the spouts of jealousy we are seeing between Avneil in respect to Ali, does Neil even remember that Ali loves Avni and had been waiting for her for 15 years? I mean, how is it possible that he can't remember, when ali would constantly go on and on about Avni when Neil was in chamko cafe and Ali even told him of his love for Avni? Things are going to get interesting.

Mithali role could have been kept more times for making avni jealous. I consider mithali as she isn't negative role so someone would be there who worked as catalyst so as to being jealous avni understands that she also feels for neil. N for neil ali is enough...but ali looks obesessive for avni hence i don't like ali's presence now a days...n about neil's remembering about ali's love he isn't taking it seriously either he is in denial mood about his feelings for avni n thinking avni doesn't accept their marriage or new script writer gautam is ignoring it because I think there is a plan to make ali next obstacle amid avneil.

By the way a make over in get up n make up is necessary for avni...neela looks more stylish than avni n sometimes even fresher than avni...but neela is in her mother role.

It seems like Neil is intentionally ignoring that fact... :D

Neil was still in the denial mode .. For him this marriage is a temporary setup and he wasn't accepting this marriage..He was thinking tht once dayawanthi got arrested They both will free from this marriage..he is not ignoring Ali's love for Avni that's y he got hurt wen Avni took Ali's name..It wouldn't have hurted him if Ali is just a frnd but he knows for Ali it's more than friendship .. Hisdenial mode will be changed wen Avni will leave him in future...

The problem is that Neil hasn't in his mind overtly acknowledged Ali's love for Avni. The writers should show an inner monologue of Neil's where he is thinking about Ali. Ali is Neil's bestfriend and Neil has always known about Ali's childhood love Avni so him not having thought about it even once is weird.

A great character like Neil's, I would expect, to believe he came between Ali-Avni so he would try to step away from Avni for Ali's sake. At the same time it does not make any sense to turn Ali negative either. It would be more believable for Ali to realize (after the AvNeil angst) that Avni has fallen in love with Neil so he should step back. I see Neil trying to make a sacrifice first but in the end, Ali will be the one to sacrifice his 15 year old love. He had always helped Avni unconditionally in their childhood so him becoming negative now will be very out of character.
