Here she stand in front of me . She is looking extremely angelic in that red lehnga . Her maangtika resting in her sindoor filled hairline was perfectly complementing her beautiful face . The mangalsutra adoring her neck was so perfect as if it belonged there. She is wearing maroon colored chuda(sacred bangles for bride)in her soft milky white hands . The same hands which i whenever hold makes me feel complete the same hands that whenever meets i feel a spark . Same hands that are perfectly fit for mine.
But the same hands are also having handcuff in them . Yes i am arresting my own wife on the day of our wedding.
As soon as wedding finished Ananya was revealed to be the bride i insisted mom dad to take Ananya to my place first . Although dad was reluctant but mom readily agreed as she did not wanna welcome Ananya at her house
As now we are standing outside the policestation i didn't intended to confront ananya or should i say Mrs Avni Neil Khanna
I expected a sudden outburst from her but she didn't . She didn't tried to lie anymore neither she defended herself.
I looked into her eyes to see weather she hate me she wrath me she consider me a traitor in disguise of a friend .
But there was nothing except emptiness in her eyes of which i was afraid of.
I could not see any emotion on her face . Those empty eyes were killing me from inside. My heart was sinking seeing her in such a state . Not able to take it anymore . I decided to leave. I asked DD to take care of further proceedings and take Avni inside the jail.
DD looked at me like i have asked him to take out his heart. He didn't asked question and asked a lady constable to take Avni in.
As the lady shook Avni's hand and dragged i turned towards my car .
As he walked towards his car Avni was constantly looking at him . She was so shocked that her mind stopped working and could not process any of the happenings.
As he sat down in his car a lone tear escaped his eyes and he stared the retreating figure of his wife . He was very angry today but didn't knew on whom on Ananya for being Avni or on himself . May be fate and circumstances.
As i entered my house i feel like i have left something behind or someone i guess. The heaviness in my heart was increasing with every passing second.
AT POLICE STATION
As the lady dragged me in the long lost terror returned with the little faded experience . As i moved further i could see Ayesha mumma bearing the tortures inflicted upon her by the so called police. Further a picture of Neela mumma flashed before my eyes . I could not control now and tears started to flow down my eyes.
Then she led me to a dark ill lit dingy cell . I started to feel the suufocation .
As she entered the remand room she started crying and screaming for help "Neela mumma bachao help "
PLEASE TAKE ME OUT bahot dar lag raha hai NEIL,she cried
Neil felt a shrill pain in his heart and shouted AVNI
He was so restless that he didn't sit for once.
Just to distract myself i was looking here and there then my eyes caught a letter type thing on the shagun thaal given by Maadhvi tai during Avnis bidaai
I opened the letter it was signed as Madhavi bit I knew that it was written by NEELA PAREKH
Neil i know this is too sudden but we can never go against our Destiny . You and Ananya are destined to be together. I have full faith that you will take care of my bacchha more than me. Neil she has suffered a lot during her childhood please help her start fresh leaving old wounds back
And yes she is very afraid of jail and darkness so never ever leave her alone with the two.
I could not finish reading the whole letter the two words were enough for me to feel like i have lost my whole world all over again . At that time all i did was running towards my car and driving it recklessly to the police station
As i entered i heard Avnis scream and my heart started to beat faster .
I was crying screaming but no one helped the darkness has engulfed me . I suddenly felt someone's presence and looked the door . As the door opened a bright beam of light entered i could see a tall figure but not the face. He was out of brathe and was panting . I
My heart immediately identified him . Yes it is him . He has come as always .
As she saw me she instantly got up with a jerk and ran towards me . On the way she stepped on her lehnga and she was about to fall.
How can i fall when u are here . He instantly encircled his mascular arms around my waist . I hugged him so tightly as he may disappear. Unlike our first hug he also tightened his grip at my back.
" I knew tum aaoge . Tum mujhe yaha se le chalo please mujhe bhot dar lag raha hai Neil"Avni said sobbing still not ready to leave him.
Neil caressed her back and said "kaise na aata afterall now its my official responsibility to protect MRS NEIL KHANNA."
"Mujhe yaha se le chaloge na Neil " Avni asked innocently closing her eyes tightly.
Neil tried to break the hug but she was admanant.
"Agar chodogi nahi to ghar kaise chalenge" neil said .
Then he gestured her to come with him but she couldn't as during fall she hurted her ankle .
Neil lifted her in his arms and walked out of the police station leaving behind a smiling DD admiring his sir and his wife.
As we reached at my place i took out Avni and walked towards my room . As i placed her on bed and tried to move away she holded my jacket and cried "please don't leave me Neil please don't"
Although she was half conscious but i could not let her down.
As Neil sat beside her she wrappet her arms around him and rested her head on his chest and cuddled like a baby.
Now as she lay beside me safe i feel my heart light and jumping at the same time.
What else do i need a world having no place for pretendness pains but a heart full of love for my life my wife...
Neil please be with like always and forever,Avni whispered
Always wifey ,Neil replied without thinking for a sec ...
