I don't think that its confirmed news. We will wait for Mahesh sir confirmation. Yes no one can portray the role like Reema jee.

I have a feeling that Faridha Jalal or Supriya Pathak might do it.

Farida ji won't do villain role+ wasn't she supposed to do that old show reboot with kvb and Shruti? Forgot it's name, the show theme was three generations of ladies had fairy powers and kvb was clueless boyfriend of the youngest girl.
